True story.....back in the late 80's/early 90's, when I was newly introduced to LV, I purchased my first mono Speedy 25 from Saks in Dearborn, Michigan.
I was so proud of that bag ( even though my ex-husband though it was gaudy...notice he is now an EX)...... I carried it, every single day, for 10 years.
I had no desire for any other purse. You could say I really got my money's worth!


She is now so beat, and the vachetta quite dirty, I can't use her anymore, canvas around the zipper is cracked.
But I'd never throw a LV into the trash.
So, she has a dedicated place in my closet, to live out her retirement. :D

I couldn't make this up if I tried......3 states, 1 marriage, 3 horses, 1 decent musician and 15 years later, and I have a respectable LV collection. The universe has a perverse sense of humor :coolio:

Aww that's really sweet!! Maybe you can get her refurbished one day!... Give her a facelift, as it were :)
