I just PM you my botched nose from Girin.Id be interested too
Hi @enivre1717, I am sad to hear you got a botched nose. May I ask for your photos by PM too please. My impression of Girin in 2020 was that it was a clinic for zygoma and v line bone surgery and the other doctor was the eye doctor who did lateral canthoplasties. I think the clinic has since acquired more doctors.I just PM you my botched nose from Girin.
Honestly, if the actual contrast of the boundary between your lip and the rest of your face is what you want to sharpen, I'd recommend getting a lip tattoo. Mine has faded, but I've absolutely loved having color on my lips at all times. I hope to get mine done as soon as I get all my dentistry business sorted.Lip filler made the result of your lip lift look more natural. I think it was a wise decision to get filler in your lower lip, it looks more balanced. I also have very thin upper lip and blurry lip line. Do you think there is any way of making clear upper lip line?
I feel like I healed quite fast. Walking around and drinking plenty water probably helped reduce the swelling quickly. I definitely felt scared to eat things that required me to press my lips together, since I could feel the tugging on my nose. I felt completely comfortable eating after a month, though. I'm very pale, so my scar was pretty much unnoticeable after the first or second month. Everyone's different, though.I'm also interested on doing the lip lift how long was the healing process for you? and how much did it roughly cost you? it looks good![]()
Aw, thank you so much!I think your results look really great~ It's actually because of your review I booked a consultation with Girin. Do you know of anybody who has done any of the body procedures with them? Also, how is the pricing? I'm always cautious about very foreigner friendly places in case they overcharge non-Koreans.
I do it for sweat management in summer since my white linen shirts would get drenched with sweat and become completely transparent 😬Hii ~ This is unrelated to your really pretty lips but I read that you did underarm Botox!!
Was it for sweat management or like aesthetics? (Because I’m a dancer and I am interested in it because of the constant sweating lol 🤡)
Also how has it lasted/ did you get another top up or was it not worth it ?
Thank you in advance 💕
Hi, could you PM contact details (full name & contact number) of the surgeon ? Thanks in advance.Hey, everyone! I'm sorry I haven't been responding to anyone for a while. I got really busy at work after we became short staffed, then I became very ill (unrelated to any surgical or cosmetic procedures). I'll work my way through my messages and your comments after I quickly post this update:
------------------- Lip Filler at Girin
After my lips showed no signs of swelling, I went in for a lip filler consultation at Girin Plastic Surgery. I was helped by a translator I hadn't met yet, who was kind and friendly. I can't remember her name since too much time passed after I became busy and fell ill, sorry.
The initial plan, like I mentioned before, was to use filler to give my flat top lip a 3D look, but the doctor who did the procedure for me expressed concern that it might weigh down my lip lift. (I can't remember her name, either, sorry) She instead advised that I make the bottom lip bigger to balance out my face, and after some thought, I agreed with her.
She worked quickly and nearly painlessly, but there was a little bit of a hiccup. There was a small bead of filler leftover from the last time I got my lips done at another clinic about 6 months ago. It's on the inner part of my bottom lip, so when I open my mouth, it gets caught on my tooth and makes my bottom lip look a little lopsided as you can see here in the pictures. It doesn't bother me a lot since it's not often noticeable, but I'm definitely getting it dissolved before I get filler done again.

NOTE: In the pictures I'm wearing BB cream, but no lip products at all. Please ignore my top lip. I had some breakouts along the ridge of the same side of the lump, so it looks a little strange. It's just healing acne, folks, haha.

I was hoping to get this done after my rhinoplasty heals. How is the scar? How do your results look now?On the day of the lip lift surgery, Heather stayed with me until operation preparations started since I was early again, and I met Angela, another translator. She did a great job keeping me calm while the anesthesiologist went to work. For all my other surgeries, I've always felt very panicked and lightheaded while getting IVs, but this was the first time I was completely fine. I didn't even have any of the usual nervousness leading up to the surgery. The aftercare was also very simple, and communications with the Girin PS English Team were timely and thorough, like I mentioned before. They made sure I knew what to expect with the healing process, which was a great relief for how anxious I would have been otherwise.
When it came time to take my stitches out on the 10th day, I had to wait a little longer than expected for my check-up with my surgeon, Dr. Lee, since he was still finishing up in the OR with another patient, which was not a big deal for me. I made sure I had ample time for the appointment just in case, but the staff were still very apologetic and careful with my time. Even one of the receptionists, who had helped me check in that day, attempted to make me feel taken care of by shooting little hearts at me while my translators debated the best options for me. Again, it's a little gesture, but it goes to show that all the employees as a team worked to make me feel as comfortable and cared for as possible. He could have just kept his head down and continued working on his computer and left me to stare into space.
The fact that the Girin PS staff continue to take good care of me even after surgery really impresses me, because all of the others gave me "turn and burn" vibes once I had gone under the knife. I know most big plastic surgery clinics are busy, but they should at least be consistent, right? Anyway, I'm still really happy with how naturally enhanced my lips look and how cared for I feel.
Thank you! Here's the scar almost a month after surgery. Do note that I have an old lip tattoo that's fading, so that's why some of the skin on my lip might look a little questionable.
I'll also attach a picture of the scar cream Girin PS staff recommended. You can find it at Olive Young for about ₩23,000.

View attachment 5809304Thank you very much for sharing, very helpful. I need this procedure too.
I went to Girin for procedures and I got bad experience and botch.Aw, thank you so much!
And I actually don't know anyone else who has gotten procedures done at Girin, personally. I've been curious, but my boss has been keeping me too busy to even think about digging around for info.
I get what you mean. All together, I paid about 5 mil for the lip lift and filler. The price tag isn't cute, but the translators were very helpful and friendly and I ended up using their lobby amenities a lot. Also, bundling procedures and such almost always leads to discounts. I'd rather pay a bit more and get exactly what I want than get a bargain and be bothered by a little flaw for the rest of my life.

But here is the photo.
The nose looks like it is upturn and crooked. It is making me more self-conscious.
