I like the bag, and I would prefer it wasn't designed by a celeb, but was just a normal bag in their line, but it's not. I think some of the backlash against it is purely because of who it is designed by and not because of the bag itself (obviously not all though, some people just don't like the bag). I know my reservations about it were regarding the fact that I wasn't into the whole "celebrity designer" aspect BUT if someone wants a simple black shoulder bag and is a fan of the chains I think it's a good option. For me getting 50 dollars off and being familiar with the quality of LP made it worth it.

Just as I think someone shouldn't carry a bag based solely on the celebrity designer, someone shouldn't refuse to carry it if they like it just because of that. Either would be equally foolish I think.

I do like the simplicity of this style, and I love that you can get two different looks out of it. Still, like the others have said, I think $350 is high for this bag. I think I'd pay up to $200 or so.

Ugh...I bought this bag on a pre-order the day it came out so I paid full retail. I got in this afternoon in the olive color, and I like it...although the chains are a bit noisy. You ladies have been getting around 50 dollars off of the bag...do you think I could do anything to change the amount I paid since I pre ordered the bag, but just recieved it now?

I like this bags look alot...and was particularly pleased with the L Zipper pull :-)
Since the 40% sale is on and another 15.00 off for being a member I was able to get the bag at a good price. I picked Espresso and I'm hoping it isn't as "unfinished or raw" looking as some of the Dylans.

When I had the bag, the L stood for Linea to me. And you know, as mad as I was at the bag's L coming off (only cause the zipper was hard to unzip and then I thought it looked like a fake) I still think this bag is absolutely gorgeous, one of the most gorgeous LP bags. I know a lot don't think it is, but I do. And I'm tempted at times to get it in olive, I had it in black. But I wish I had the olive so that I wouldn't want the olive now. I would be over the bag probably if I had had it in olive, you don't see that color often. Who knows though, since LP was so cool about it, maybe I will buy it one day in Olive, hopefully for my sake it goes off the market by then lol. I just love the olive, but I'm thinking that MJ makes a bag probably similar. It reminds me of like a chanel mixed with MJ. Maybe that doesn't sound right but somehow it does.

BTW, I bet a million dollars she didn't design it. So LP made a simple bag to make it like she did. Cause people know she is no top designer. But I love the simplicity of the bag. What I love is the chains, I've wanted a chanel bag forever and the chains remind me of that.
