The seller was haute*design. I saw on the deals, sightings thread that there was a link to their store a few weeks ago. That's not how I found that store though, I just happened upon that thread while I was waiting for my bag.

Hopefully I will get reimbursed. After reading the buyer protection rules on ebay I feel like I will. I do wonder if a green pleather bag with some gold thumbtacks on it is going to show up at my door. ;-) I'll keep you posted.

The links no longer work to that seller so it is odd that you know it is haute design. Everyone better not buy from Linger Rose then. We were told by iheartbags17 that Linger Rose and haute design are the same company.

I know the seller of the bag I bought was haute*design and I noticed it a few days ago when I was scouring the deals thread. I clicked on a link and it took me to the ebay store I bought from.

I believe I know which seller you are talking and she wasn't flagged for counterfeit she was flagged for "trade mark infringement" because of her pictures... which she has to legal right too, because she pays the picture fees from the designers. However ebay did not know that... she sent out a message to her regular customers telling us about the appeal and what is going on with her including the fact that she was at a funeral on Sunday out of state and would ship everything Tuesday when she got back.

As for the shipping issue... if she sent it usps... it may not update until after delivery because usps sometimes does that. And you might be jumping the gun on worrying... because if it hasn't been a full 7 days since the ebay next business day shipping requirement then it's not unreasonable that is hasn't arrived yet. Like if you bought it Monday then she has to ship it Tuesday and it would arrive by Saturday... even with priority. But if you ordered on a Friday then she doesn't have to ship until Monday and then you have until that coming Friday before it might arrive, even with priority.... remember the 2-3 days is a guideline not a guarantee.

I can tell you personally about the pains of shipping usps... I once overnighted a bag to NY and they accidentally sent it to Hawaii for three days. If the seller said she sent it... give it till Saturday... unless you ordered like Wednesday or something... keep the faith. But if you ordered Monday or Friday, give it a little while longer.

As I said you might be jumping the gun... just something to think about.:smile1:

I hope it all works out... and don't give up on LP. THEY ARE AWESOME!!:p

I just thought since I was quoted that I would correct something I said earlier... that Linger Rose is NOT connected to haute*design. I was misinformed. They do not have a ebay store or ebay seller account. They are not on ebay...

I got an email from them letting me know that they are not on ebay. And that they have never been on ebay and they want to make sure their customer's are aware. Since there had been some talk about them on ebay and they are not on ebay. So no connection.

When I emailed them to ask about the email... Rebbecca from customer service, said that a designer had called after reading internet posts and due the confusion they simply wanted to clear it up.

So no connection. My bad.

They do have a real website... and according to their auctions if you buy from their website instead of their ebay site... their return policy kicks in and they will match the ebay price and then discount it 5%. Since they don't ebay fees that way.

Also, you can still pay with paypal if you use their real site. i have used their site, it works... they have a great referral program.

if anyone is interested private message me and i will give you the name and a coupon for a free designer accessory. i got the coupon through the referral program... if i refer we each get a free item... no limit must be a new customer.

i think that answered the questions... ask me if you got more.

That's a good point... feedback is very important. And they only have one negative feedback and it says "good seller". They do have a neutral that says slow shipping but the counter from the seller says Christmas usps delays... which sounds realistic to me.

Point is her feedback is pretty good. And None of them say fake. Just a thought.

This would make sense...The pics were from the LP website. Getting an email from eBay stating :

...Is a little eyebrow raising. I would LOVE an authentic bag at my doorstep so hopefully it the situation will sort itself out.

I hope it does work out.... and no matter what bag is delivered, if you take a few pictures and post them in the authentication forum... we can tell you if it is real or not.

But as I said... don't give up on LP... THEY ARE AWESOME!!
