An SA mentioned she has a veined onyx bracelet available. Looks like a happy marriage between malachite and onyx!

Ok. Every party needs a pooper - that’s me. Of all the stones out there that look gorgeous with WG, they choose this. Ugh. WTH. First of all I would never be offered this in the first place. But even so, why? This is such a harsh combination, and 1) they already offered pietersite which is a more beautiful version and 2) they already offered onyx? I cannot make sense of their decisions. How about aventurine? Or cool toned pastels?
I think the amazonite would be amazing in WG, but of course all you YG lovers get the good stuff. Yeah, I’m not jealous…at all.😉. This special edition is also another strictly observational for me. Enjoy fellow VCA lovers.

Thanks for posting this super clear picture. I can see that this might appeal to some people.
The photo is not mine; it belongs to my SA. If anyone wants it, I can pm you the boutique.

I am glad someone posted the comparison shot of veined onyx vs pietersite and turquoise vs amazonite.

Since I have the lapis - with its clouds and gold dust, I thought I won’t need the veined onyx and pietersite.

Here are some pics of Veined onyx and Amazonite under store lighting, also comparison with pietersite and turquoise
Thanks for posting this. It is exactly what I wanted to see.

I am not a fan of the rough-stone looking pieces they use, like the pink-holiday pendant 3 or 4 years ago, nor of this amazonite. Not sure what they are thinking. I did see a bracelet online from Japanese reseller and the stones on the pietresite (sp?) looked cracked and had other colors. I hope the members here that own it can say if this is natural for the stone or its damaged.

Are you in the US? I'm just wondering where these are available now. thanks!

This is normal. It is a very dynamic stone, I don’t think it can be understood until it is seen in person (which is why the fakes are so comical). It has chatoyantcy like Tiger’s eye, but instead of just color shifting/light shifting in parallel lines, is is all over, it looks like a galaxy.

I work with boutiques in Paris and London although I am based in HK. I had wanted to get pieces from the local boutiques but inventory appears limited in HK which is such a pity because some local SAs are wonderful people.
Thank you! I guess we are the last to get these new stones and the Hawaii collection, or maybe it's just my boutique here in the US. With any luck, Fifth Ave will have something to try on next week when we are visiting NYC. We were lucky to work with a marvelous sales associate and store manager in the Prince's Building boutique earlier this year, so I know what you mean about wanting to purchase from them.

I agree that some of these stones look better in person. If you can see behind the big gold zodiac figures on the larger pendants, some of them have the most amazing stones inside, including Amazonite. The Capricorn I saw in person was so much livelier than the one pictured on the website. The pietersite in the Sagittarius is red - very different to the VA motifs, but still lovely. I had always asked why they didn't use more of these stones in a way which is easier to see. One is finally in production, but of course, next to impossible to obtain!

As Nicole I can say this is normal. I found a video that is more next to real visual of pietersite -> I post it here :

Pietersite gets « orange » inclusions inside and that is normal. I love the galaxy description of @nicole0612

Thank you and thank you @Sophie0121 for your insight. love how beautiful it is, and really think as a bracelet, it would be the perfect piece for me, as onyx is too monotone for me, and I’d rather have the lighter color of this stone than the veined onyx, but am wondering if those lines that look like cracks are cracks and that is normal within the stone?
