The Les Jardiniers du Roy- it's a real beauty!!! <3 is that one a limited edition, a rare one, the one for the foundation? I've understood that the original is from 1967, but in different colors, not pink..

Yes, this was issued for the Princess Grace Foundation - it says that on the scarf - and I believe it was 1982 (maybe '83? I am starting to forget...). I know there were very few issued, maybe 100, it was for a foundation event. I have had it in my personal possession since 1999, and I bought it privately from a friend who at that time was a longtime collector (she never wore it, either). I still can't bring myself to wear it, even though the colors are great on me, so it is still crisp and perfect and never worn. Since 1999, I have seen it offered by others on eBay only two or three times, so it's definitely pretty rare!

It´s really lovely! :) Then I understand why it´s rare. compared to the blue, red, green, brown "Les jardiniers du Roy" (the orirginals?) this one is more sought for I suppose ;) The original of "Les jardiniers du Roy"- it´s from... 1967? Are there any other editions from other years made from this model?
