I was being a little sarcastic :)

But in all honesty, they look like they're on the same page in a lot of elements so that's what matters: traveling, material possessions, entrepreneurship, cultural background, working out (hiking from what I've seen on IG).

I cringe when people over-expose their relationships on social media. Especially when you get a sense it's highly superficial. It's must be so awkward for their next "soulmate" when they see all those comments about how the ex was "the only person I'd ever want blahblahblah".

I know we live in the selfie generation but a little discretion should be used.

Oh ok, I thought they were both Iranian.

At any rate, many of my Iranian and Indian friends identify with one another in many respects and the food is very similar.. Especially some of the rice dishes.

After all, Lilly identifies with the Persian culture which was part of modern day Pakistan which was the same country as India before it was split between India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

So their cultures are akin to one another in many ways.

Oh, sorry GoGlam, my sarcasm detector doesn't always function as it should, Lol. I do agree they have some of the other things you mentioned in common as well, I just don't see them as a "through thick and thin, richer or poorer," and all that type of couple.

These cultures are not exactly the same, but they are similar. And they shared lands not too long ago. Religious background is different than culture.

It's like saying the culture in Kazakhstan and Russia are not akin.

Iran and India aren't very similar at all.

As someone from a middle eastern background who lives in a middle eastern country with exposure to both those cultures. I can tell you they're not. Maybe you're referring to the watered down versions you see in immigrants. Even then, I don't think so.

I'm not going to argue about this. I never used the word very. They were part of the same land! This conversation is moot.
