I'm beginning to think Lilly is purposefully putting herself out there like this (the airhead voice, the mis-quoting, the inappropriate comments), either to make herself appear more relatable or just for attention. The girl is smart, even if her parents paid her way through law school. She still is a member of the California bar, and that is not an easy test to pass (in fact, one of the hardest). Whatever reason she's doing it, it's pretty sad, IMO.

I thought she said she "passed" the Florida bar exam.

Yeah, I think so too.. It worked for Jessica Simpson after all

I wonder if she did on-campus interviews and worked at firms in the summer? I'd love to have been a fly on the wall. I just can't imagine her in the legal profession.

I just can't!

Some of the most accomplished people I know (holding an MBA, phd, etc) are some of the most clueless about practical application of life lessons and problem solving. Education can but doesn't always equal intelligence. Memorization and book work does not lead to eloquence and/or common sense. I believe it is a blend of all of these things that allow someone to come across as "well read" or educated/intelligent whatever you want to call it. I have a fairly high degree in my education and I don't think i am a genius, I simply worked hard.

But that's the thing, she doesn't come off as "well read" or educated/intelligent ...

I agree. I think that is why people think she is stupid and question if she want to law school or passed the bar. I don't think that just because she did those things, we should expect her to be articulate and conversely because she isn't articulate or "smart sounding" that she must be lying about her academic background. One doesn't always equate to the other.....

She has some of her stuff on eBay. Not everything is brand name, like a dress from ASOS that's around $50.00 brand new has over 20 bids and is going for $150.00.. why would anyone want it? I mean she's not even that famous.

um yeah, so do millions of other people in the world....
I 'm sure she meant that it's surprising how people are already paying thrice as much for an item (from Asos mind you) she's selling probably because she's the one selling it.
