EDIT: She presents herself as a total moron which is WHY she got called out for not having a degree, and then was so insecure she had to post proof.

If any of you ladies (well most of you) told me you had a law degree, I'd believe it.

I don't always proofread my replies before posting on this forum, shame on me. I come back later to read replies and like -wtf did I write, makes no sense? :roflmfao: And I actually have law degree too (European). :D

However, I agree that Lilly is absolutely annoying with her Barbie doll stupidity. :cool:

I agree, but Lilly is a "business woman", who is promoting herself and her company on social media. You would think she would make sure to check things before she post. We are not running a company on TPF or marketing ourselves here.

Do they actually make money with this business? Or is it purely for their ego? Are their swim suits popular in stores?

I liked some of their design on the show but I'm not size 00 and wouldn't fit in any of their swim suits...

I personally never heard of her or her friend Jennifer until a couple of weeks ago.

LOL happens to me a lot (the wtf did i write) especially since i use the ipad app. I try to correct if I can.

I don't understand why she keeps referring to herself as "self made." I used to read her blog before she appeared on Shahs and she openly admitted that her parents are wealthy and offer a lot of financial support and that her boyfriend is rich and buys her the expensive cars, Birkins etc. I don't for a second believe that she is making enough money to buy Bentleighs and Birkins from a swim wear line that no one has heard of.

As for the way she writes and speaks, I agree with the others, it's hard to believe that someone can get through law school, pass the bar, and be that illiterate and seemingly dumb.

I don't get this either. To me, self made refers to a person who perhaps came from a family that did not have money or connections,etc. and worked their butt off building a business, or in a career, is innovative, strategic and so on.

I'm beginning to think Lilly is purposefully putting herself out there like this (the airhead voice, the mis-quoting, the inappropriate comments), either to make herself appear more relatable or just for attention. The girl is smart, even if her parents paid her way through law school. She still is a member of the California bar, and that is not an easy test to pass (in fact, one of the hardest). Whatever reason she's doing it, it's pretty sad, IMO.
