I see she deleted her original post about the shooting. It was filled with stuff about the shooter rotting in hell and stuff like that.

Her new post:

What happened to America?
I haven't blogged this weekend as I usually do, and to be quite honest it's largely because I am so disappointed with man kind. The Connecticut shooting is so tragic and disgusting, I am still coming to terms with what happened.

Children are the most innocent life forms. They are innocent. Loving. Defenseless. Children are to be cherished, not hurt.

Life must go on, and work continues, but my thoughts are constantly with the mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters and everyone else that unnecessarily lost a loved one.

My heart truly goes out to everyone affected by the tragedy. My prayers are with you.

Life forms? An amoeba is a life form as well. Considering the young woman is touted to have a degree in law I would have hoped for better articulation.

Seriously?!?! Wow ...

Yes. I was kinda shocked when I read it. Yes, he was a sick, evil individual and what he did was inconceivable but every time Lilly speaks or writes something I feel like she is socially, emotionally, mentally immature...like the AIDS remark. She kept saying "inaccurate unacceptable inappropriate joke" in her apologies about it. I wouldn't have used the word joke, personally. I guess her use of inaccurate was meant to correct the assumption that AIDS could be transferred through "crotch juice" on a bikini liner. Idk, it just seemed disingenuous.

She doesn't formulate her thoughts very well, in my opinion.

As someone who graduated with a law degree, you'd think 'articulation' would be her strong point. Isn't that an asset in order to get through law school or any kind of school? How did she write papers? Some things are truly baffling. I can see why she chose not to pursue law, you need to have excellent articulation and communication skills to be an attorney.

^^ Exactly, but then again .. I've seen people get advanced degrees who IMO were as "sharp as a spoon". Yes, has always made me wonder if there is a corresponding "casting couch" in academia.

I'd be interesting in learning more about the firm she worked for (family owned) and the type of cases, if any she handled. Hell for all we know she could have been a glorified paralegal.

Hmm.. I dunno guys... I graduated from a really good Uni with a degree in Poli Sci and Econ and if y'all heard the way I talk sometimes you would think that I was as sharp as a tack LOL. I'm articulate and educated sounding when I need to be (meetings, presentations, etc) but in my personal life not so much because I just don't care to be "professional" all the damn time. I consider her blog her personal life albeit in a public forum. She's not in court defending a client but I'm sure she can turn it on when she needs to.

Also I can't work a fax machine... But I have no problem asking someone to help me :p
