Thank you my fellow pink lover! I want to try a different scarf already to see how a different one looksThis is cool! Thanks for sharing!!![]()
You’re welcome! My first thought was I wonder is this easy to change! Glad to hear it is! This is such a great use for all of the scarves that’s just sitting folded in its box! I look forward to seeing the next! Happy Sunday to you as well!Thank you my fellow pink lover! I want to try a different scarf already to see how a different one looksIt’s pretty easy to change. I’ll post my next one. I’m really impressed with the thoughtfulness of detail and ease of use they put into this piece. Happy Sunday!
Yes! I’ve been missing my silks and feeling wasteful. It’s very easy to change as you use an included suction cup to lift the acrylic piece only to change scarves out. You’re welcome! @DrTr, Holy Moly, I think I love you. So gorgeous! But oh no, I need a bigger house because I need more wall space. I forsee a new obsession. Oh no.Hello again - changed out the scarf today and paid closer attention to the way the frame functions. I took a picture of the edge while the scarf was laying in the bottom of the frame. The top piece is all acrylic including the black that looks like it’s part of the frame. They put the magnets on the inside edge of the black, so the magnets are actually holding the body of the scarf, in this case part of the white border, not the hem. What a clever construction this thing is. The scarf I had in there for a few days, the hem was perfectly intact, because nothing was pushing on it. To change the scarf, I simply use the little suction cup they provide, pulled up the acrylic placed in the new scarf, replaced the acrylic from the top down and all was done. Unfortunately, when I take a picture in the daylight, it shows reflections which don’t show up in my house just in my camera’s eye.
I did figure out the scarves that have large borders or maybe any borders will be hard to get exactly centered as you will be able to tell from my photograph. I didn’t have time to make it perfect but I wanted to show a different scarf and let people know it is so easy to use and it looks like it will not damage the scarf based on how it was made. It would seem whoever did this thought of everything. Maybe someday a battery would be possible, but it’s a bit heavy and I’m not sure where a battery would go if you hang the piece on the wall rather than lean it as I have done. I’m fine with it needing electricity as I found the perfect spot where it won’t show and I don’t have to change or charge batteries.
Here’s one of my favorites, Space Derby. Happy Monday all!

It does - hadn’t thought of that! It was so bright the first night we had to turn it off to watch a move, but DH figured out how to dim it very low so it’s a nice cozy light.Looks like a 4k TV screen!![]()
this is amazing... and I have just the place for one!Happy weekend all!
Ever since the pandemic, when I have not had to go into an office every single day, I don’t wear as many of my 90 silks as I would love to do. I have two Hermès 4 post fixation systems so I can rotate scarves on two systems in different rooms. My 90 pieces of silky art make me so happy, and I love seeing them.
Imagine to my great delight when I found on luxurybagdisplay.com. a magnetic lighting display system! It perfectly holds a 90 between an acrylic front plate with magnets, attached to the back plate of the frame with magnets. It is very easy to put a scarf in and very easy to rotate scarves. It comes with a black frame or a gold frame. At $600 it’s actually less than the four post system and I was lucky enough to get it on sale over the Labor Day holiday. As it is packed so very carefully, it took me forever to unpack it, and about five minutes to install the scarf and plug it in.
I have no financial ties with luxurybagdisplay.com, I’m just a very happy customer with the acrylic boxes I have bought for my Hermès handbags over the years, and now I am even happier with this lighted display. I know many here display their scarves and some frame them permanently. This fixed all my problems because I don’t want to frame any permanently in case I wish to wear them. This way I can display on dim or bright LED lighting and change the scarf whenever I wish. Even my husband is thrilled as he has always loved my silk and thinks the artwork is stunning as do I. Hope this helps at least a few of you. First scarf below!!![]()
PS I took two photographs as there’s a window across from the mantle that reflected in the acrylic and then one from an angle so the reflection doesn’t show. The scarf is La March du Zambeze noir/vert/orange H002987S 18.
