Linings aren't a make it or break it for me - unless it's particularly terrible or ill-fitting - but I have two purses whose linings are my favorite:

Bal City Neiman Marcus 10th Anniversary Edition

Kate Spade shoulder bag that I've had since college, not sure of model name

It always makes me happy to open these two purses, the linings are so much fun ❤️

I do like a paisely or pop of color lining:)

Lining is very important to me. It has to be pretty and not clash with the exterior. I'm not really fond of wildly patterned linings because it is chaotic to look into my bag. I prefer a pretty color. I really don't like most signature or black linings. I love the tattersall and Legacy striped linings Coach used in 2006 and 2007.

I've been considering getting a Versace. I'm just not sure how I feel about the lining. It doesn't bother me now as much as it did. I guess I'm getting used to it.

I can't even look at an Oryany bag because of the lining.

I like plain lining. Actually I like black lining because the dirt isn't noticeable. I don't like wild prints on the lining. I have a MBMJ bag that has the black/white logo in the lining and it annoys me.

I really care about linings and I've walked away from lovely bags with horrid ones. I absolutely hate jazzy and synthetic linings, and microfibre is just no  I look for leather or suede or quality cotton canvas. And don't get me started on nylon zips

I'm beginning to favour leather or suede linings only. Weight is not a big deal for me (I tend to carry a lot anyways), and I really hate loudly-patterned linings, so I'm not losing anything in avoiding fabric.

The fabric lining in my PS1 tore up along the entire length of the bag, and that definitely was a disappointment... I take good care of my bags, and store most of my items in leather pouches, so there was never anything sharp and loose in there.

The lining needs to be good quality because it takes a bit of a beating! I’ve had some cheaply made bags come apart in the lining because of the fabric weight and quality. I also prefer a light coloured lining so that it’s easier to find things in the bag. I love a “pop” of colour, so I am attracted to bags with interesting fabrics for linings.

I've rediscovered a brand recently - Louis Cardini - because of the quality of the leather construction and lining. The bags are handcrafted by a French artisan in Australia, and they are light, classic, and wear in beautifully. Lining is a deal breaker for me. Leather bags pretty much have to have leather lining, and I won't consider otherwise.
