Silverfern, omg, that Amalia is stunning! Lanvin really does metallics well, huh? I know that the metallics of a lot if other high-end designers can rub off after awhile. Is it safe to say these don't? It really seems like they figured out how to do it right so that they hold up and look amazing! Congrats to your friend!

silverfern - That metallic is just beaut... I like how it's more champagne than a hard silver. Oh dear, I am starting to want a Happy again (I keep going to and fro with the Happy, want it, don't want it, not sure, want it ...)
nycmom - So that's the Pompom tote! I've seen it on sites and nearly bought it, but wondered if it would be too similar to my Amalia tote. Is it actually bigger than the Amalia? And the handles look longer too? Leather looks gorgeous and super soft. Thanks for the photos!

bag-gage, you're right the pompom is definitely larger than the amalia and also has a longer strap drop, and the handles are attached on each side (rather than going thru if you know what i mean) so it's a bit easier to open the bag fully and see and access what's inside, although as i think you mentioned earlier it is very slouchy and unstructured so you would have to be okay with that...i was also worried that it might be too similar to the amalia but the pompom (at least the style i have) is a much less delicate leather (vs the lambskin) so i am not as worried about having to be careful when i carry it...i hope that helps! please feel free to let me know if you have questions or need any more info!

nycmom - your pics are making me re-think the Pompom!!! It's gorgeous. I'm such a sucker for grosgrain and chain! And actually it looks less slouchy than the Amalia despite the size difference. Thanks so much for the pics.

Those are very recent pics. Not sure when they were taken but posted around end June? They were on purseblog's BagThatStyle, as well as a couple of other sites. So it should be a recent Happy. I haven't seen it anywhere tho'. Maybe a new bag that has yet to make its way into stores.
