It was somewhere between 6 and 7 hundred, and when the bag arrived the tag showed the original price to be 1,600... so it was a good deal.

The pic is from style.com, its a lanvin bag from their SS08 collection. I checked barneys but they dont have this paritcular bag. I need to find it online, hope someone can help!

I can't believe we do not have a section for Lanvin bags here. Anyhoo..

I need help please!!!! This will be my 1st Lanvin bag purchase and I can't make up my mind.

Any opinions on the Kentucky in black with brown straps and handles?

I just bought it sight unseen at Barneys on sale for $895. I wish it was all black but I am thinking I will like the brown handles. I love large totes but I do have many good ones in my closet.

I was thinking of getting the Prunelle clutch (whcih I saw and LOVE!)

but then I was thinking I would not be using it enough because it is small and I carry a lot of stuff. Also I am kinda poor right now so spending $1300 is a little out of my budget.

Also I was looking at the Niger Sac but not sure I like how structured it is.

Oh I should be on a purse ban but I am going thru withdrawls right now and I have been eyeing Lanvin bags for about 4 years now.

Thank you kimalee!!! I just needed someone to tell me I made the right choice. And I got it at such a good price. It was on 2nd mark down and my SA said it was hiding in the back stock room. yey! But I do love that clutch. Maybe no one will buy it and it will go on sale when Barneys has one again.

^you did get a FAB price!!! I so want the Kentucky but I always seem to miss the sales or they don't have the color I want (I actually want black with brown handles lol!). congrats!
