sorry for leaving you hanging! i didn't want to say anything until my new bag was in hand. and it is as of this afternoon. :p

please say hello to my new lady, in black/marina! i love this color combo (makes me happy!) and i am happy that she will keep my black/marina bucket in good company. :D

my lady bag arrived with all sorts of scratches etc, but i have gotten used to this with their new bags - that's how the leather is supposed to be. plus, this was the bag i had really wanted from the july launch, but couldn't get because they weren't available yet at the time.

i am looking forward to using this lady bag and getting the leather all shinied up.

You and the bag look great! My first MG was a mini mini in black, and while I thought it was a tad too small, I just got my mini Cammello and that looks huge in comparison. I'll definitely need to get used to it a bit.

Thank you all! I really love it--i was just surprised at how much less pink the exterior was than the interior. Rdgldy is yours the same way?

I'm 5'3" too and I do carry rather huge bags - my Birkin 35 is my all-time favourite bag! But I feel that it's both the size+shape of the regular bucket that isn't quite sitting well on my frame. I've knotted the strap to try and adjust the length but overall I just am not feeling it, so I'll probably sell it soon.

Sorry to barge in..but I'm also 5'3" and just recently started using my regular bucket. At first it felt huge on me (probably because I started off with the mini size) but, after a while, I got used to it. I use the shortest setting on the straps and mostly wear it cross body. I feel that if I don't tie the string too tightly, the bucket kind of flattens a bit on top, which makes it feel less bulky.. Hope that makes sense!? I hope you decide to keep it ;)

I went the other way: I started with the regular, but after I got the mini I realised it fits my style and lifestyle better! :laugh:

That's exactly how I wear it too - I don't tie the string too tight, it almost looks like it is always open. It seems less bulky this way. I don't wear it crossbody, just on the shoulder on the shortest strap setting or with the strap knotted if I want it even shorter ...

Oic! For me size-wise, I think the mini is perfect as well. But I still like the look and the space of the regular. Anyway, back on topic, can't wait to see your new mini mini ;)
