I'll be 38 this April and have finally long stopped caring what people think. I'm a high school teacher and when I get weird looks from other teachers, I just say, "What?" right out loud and call them on it. It's not my fault that they can't pull off awesome accessories.

And yes, Sarah, it's definitely sparkly and fun. Let's just say I might need sunglasses when wearing this on a bright, sunny day...lol...and at night, it sparkles so beautifully. But it's not a "garish" or gaudy bag at all - it's beautifully made. And I love the fact that it has 2 straps with different lengths. When I wear it crossbody, it's incredibly easy to access all of my stuff.
What's sad is that those that sit around judging everyone are the ones most afraid of judgement from other people and jealous to the core of everyone. It's a terrible way to live your life, nose turned up, judging others. I don't care what other people are doing as long as it's not hurting my family. I have actual family members that do this. I am "spoiled" because I am a SAH mom, and have STUFF. Believe me it's just STUFF when it comes down to it. Just lock me up and throw away the key, because my new boots or truck are offending you. And I get what your talking about, the "age" thing. I'm 40+, I get those same stupid looks from female family members because I show up for dinner in skinny jeans, nice shoes and always a great bag. We are all the same age cousins and they wear a lot of nasty yoga pants, crocs, fake uggs, old tee's. It does not have to be name brand, but they could at least be clean. It makes me uncomfortable because their spouses are looking at me trying to figure out why his wife looks the way she does. One even asked me to take his wife shopping.... My hubby will tell you, I can be dressed in 15 min, people have no excuse. They judge you with their looks, which is stupid. I will NEVER leave the house dressed in dirty clothes, house slippers or p.j.'s............... But I would still swing that frankie disco bag around in sweats LOL!!You need to get one!

OK! Here's my new love...my gorgeous, Queen of the Disco Bag: the "Frankie mesh" large drawstring bag. She will not hide in my closet only to come out for "special occasions." In fact, she's sitting next to me for the first time this morning in a coffee shop.
The lovely gents in the background are Ziggy and Marley, who refuse to be left out of reveals.
I ordered this first thing this morning!! I could NOT stop thinking about it!! The store only has the small left so with free shipping it was only 238.00 online for the large. I cannot wait for it to arrive!! People are reselling them for 300-400+ on ebay, that's almost retail, and folks are ACTUALLY bidding on them, CRAZY!! It's the right size for a blingy bag too, not too big, not too small. I Hope when she arrives, it's LOVE, not LIKE.

I know I have to calm down about this bag, breathe....okay, back to normal. It just looks so different than what your used to from MK. The microstud sophie I wanted is forgotten. Now the WAITING for delivery begins. This will perfect for date nights with the hub's. I must admit I'm still excited......I was thinking future collectors item (maybe) too ubo22.

It's the 9×9 bag, really small. It is the perfect size for going out at night if you feel like you need something bigger than a clutch that has straps.

(And trust me, I know, the waiting process can be torturous!!!!)It's funny - I was in Neiman Marcus (just browsing, I swear) the other day, wearing my Frankie mesh bag, and the SA exclaimed, "Oh, my gosh, I LOVE that bag!!!" And I was like, "Oh, thank you! I do, too. It's Michael Kors." She looked shocked and said, "OH. I thought it was ..." (and then she mentioned some high-end designer I can't remember right now). Then she said, "It looks very expensive."
I just cracked up and walked away, because she has been nice to me in the past and I didn't want to be rude. But I was thinking lots of rude things.
ANYWAY, I'm thrilled that you got this and you will LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I can't seem to move out of it. It's seriously a showstopper.
