Smiley, did you know the bag is convertible and has two different looks to it, wearing it two different ways? You can change the whole shape of the bag! ?? I think you will enjoy that feature, I know I do! Especially when traveling. Makes it look like you have two different bags, which is nice when you don't have much room in your suitcase.
Here are my Luggage and silver Uptown Astors. I still have my black and silver, as well, I am almost as bad with these Astors are you are with the Rileys! lol! Not quite. You can't get them in silver anymore. I am trying to find rare colors now. Is fun! Also, check out the detailed contrast white stitching on the luggage color! You just don't see that much anymore.

I really love this bag and am sure I'll eventually end up with one some day.

Hard decision! But if you found a sale, maybe both?? ll! They normally retail over 500 with tax, at 448.00! I love my luggage the most, but they are all gorgeous in any any color! Is a great bag!

Good going! You won't regret it. The Uptown Astor is a fabulous bag! Just wait until you feel that leather! If you got a good discount then you did the right thing because that bag normally retails for 448.00 and I don't see them go on sale very often! I did see they have them discounted on the MK website this month. I already have black, luggage, silver and a blue. It's not Navy though. Is more of an electric blue. Is not the uptown, but a similar.Astor Is this one! Is the Astor Satchel with zipper top. The UPtpwn Astor is a tote that closes with a snap. . Here I was wearing it with my "Blue Suede Shoes"!! lol! The walnut is a luggage color, isn't it??

It is a doozey! Beware it is a bit heavy as the leather is so thick on it! But if this old lady can deal with it, anyone can! They are on sale right now on the MK website. I rarely see them on sale. They generally retail for 448.00, which would be over 500 with tax. I think I saw them for 350? on the MK website this month.

OMG!! Gorgeous! You got the gold hardware! Mine has silver. No matter, the bag is GORGEOUS and looks great on you! How about that leather?? Are you lovin it?? Quite a bit thicker and heavier than the Riley, don't you think? I think we are the only ones on here besides Ubo that loves the Uptown Astor! lol! They are VERY popular on ebay though and whenever I list one they don't even wait for the auction to end and do the buy iy now immediately! One of my best sellers, even more so than the Selmas or Hamiltons I have listed. Seriously! I just LOVE that chain strap on it! Did you know you can squeeze the Orings to take it off??

Thank you I love love love this bag and the leather and boy the leather smells yummy. It's definitely heavier than Riley I actually wouldn't mind getting more colors in it I like the two ways to hold it also. I'm so happy I got them my walnut came in I have to look it over still
All mine are gold since they didn't have any silver but that's okay I love the bag so I don't care 💖💖💖

I wonder why this one doesn't have the smooth leather like the black one does? I could never figure that out. Look how much different the leather is on my Luggage Astor. I don't think the walnut is the same color as the luggage and the leather is totally different. I have seen these type before. It's very nice but I like your black one better, to be honest. Do you like this one?? The leather is so different on this. Is not smooth like the black one or like my luggage , black and silver. It is lumpy for some odd reason. I can never figure out why MK is so inconsistent. You'd think the same leather would be used for each color of the same bag style. Weird, huh?? .

No it is nothing like goat leather. Here is my Naomi which is in goat leather. Goat hide is very smooth and has a shine to it. Not even close.

Here is a better pic where you can see the goat leather better. It is smooth and has a sheen. Is gorgeous! Most of the Uptown Astors are a smooth leather. Not sure why that one is like that, but I have seen others the same way. Is weird how inconsistent they are.
