In my search for a white gold necklace, I've been wanting to explore other brands of jewelry or places to buy jewelry. Unfortunately I don't have a trustworthy local jeweler.
I've explored the typical boucheron, Bvlgari, Tiffany, HW, Graff, on the one end; and mall jewelry on the other.
Also looked longingly at the pictures of Garrard but they're not located in my country.

So what brands or non branded high quality jewelry places do you love? Any trustworthy stores to browse quality pieces?

If you’re open to exploring beyond the big names, there are so many wonderful smaller brands and independent jewelers that offer amazing quality. I’ve had good experiences browsing local artisan shops and some reputable online boutiques that focus on craftsmanship over branding. It’s a fun way to discover unique pieces that you won’t find everywhere!

I've thought about custom but not sure what I want really , so I haven't explored that much.
@caruva, did you know exactly what you wanted and they crafted it for you? Or do they have a few choices to show you?

Only two tiny local jeweler stores here, one mostly has used watches and I had a poor experience with the other so I'm not inclined to purchase from them.

No options for local artisans or anything similar.

Pomellato doesn't really seem my style , I will look at Marco Bicego thank you!

I know I've suggested this before, but you should consider attending the jewelry show in Miami or West Palm Beach. You will get to see tons of jewelry from name brand to artisan at a variety of price points and can connect with trusted jewelers from all over. You may find something you fall in love with or meet someone you'd like to have design something for you. I'm not even really into jewelry but these are 2 of my favorite shows to attend. West palm you can do in a day, Miami you need at least 2-3. There are also some handbags, art and antiques but focal point is jewelry.

I mostly buy online, but brands I like that I've found have high-end build quality and refinement: Jane Taylor, Nicole Rose, Suzanne Kalan.

Brands where I've found pieces I love, but aren't quite as refined, but are of solid construction: Bayou with Love, Grace Lee, Warren Jewelers.

Another suggestion I have is to look at small silver brands where you love the design/build quality and see if they'll cast the piece in gold. I’ve done this with Loupn and Be Arum and they’re some of my favorite pieces.

Aren't these 2 jewelry shows only open to those in the trade and not to the general public?

Yes you did recommend that and I totally forgot so thank you so much for reminding me!
Is it a place where you have to know what to look for or does everyone have fair prices?
I tried walking around the nyc 47th street jewelry district a while ago and felt so overwhelmed; I would not really know how to judge if something is overpriced or excellent quality.

Thank you so much I am off to google these brands and ideas !

I'm sure you've already looked at Messika and Dinh Van - they have beautiful options in white gold.

For other unique designers, sometimes I browse online stores that carry independent jewellers like TwistOnline and Orro.co.uk, find a jeweller I like the aesthetics of and then check out their portfolios on IG. And you can contact them directly for more information and custom pieces.

What kind of WG necklace do you want?
I love this Neuwirth necklace, but it’s VERY expensive.

I might look for antique platinum necklaces a la old watch fobs converted into necklaces. Platinum is durable, does not need replating, and is cost effective nowadays. Or old style tennis necklaces. Or filigree…

I'm honestly not sure what I'm looking for tbh, which is probably part of my problem 😅
Definitely something easily wearable on a daily basis, but not so much a pendant.
I know pendants are so popular but I'm a bit tired of them.
I enjoy slightly longer necklaces for the elongated effect ( like the vca 6 motif) but not too long since I'm short (like a 20 looks silly on me).
