See, you'd never drool over his star on the Walk of Fame photo I posted above. In that photo, and for that day, he looked like an good looking, happily grinning skinny person. It's his swag as limom said, but swag is something he puts on.

I think his stylist put him in high waist trousers as they’re fashionable. They could’ve done a lower rise no matter his waist length.
