From my experience, I don't think you can have the shipping fee waived. But someone may know more than me?

If you have one of the stores order it for you then you dont pay shipping,,, so maybe if you are in the store ask if they can check the database, and if /when they say its not on the website (but i THINK not positive but i think they can check the actual backstock of items in the warehouses and stuff so if they are avail on the 1800 # the stores should be able to see it)

I got one of the two that I backordered yesterday. I took it back to the store because it had a spot on the back of it and there were no tags. I wonder if it was a return or floor display from the original batch. Good thing I ordered 2! Hopefully the other one will be perfect.
Argggg I tried calling and asked about them and she told me they won't be getting them until June. I asked if I could order one now and just have it shipped when they get them and she said NO it was too soon. WTF? How can I get one now before they sell out of them!!!
The guy I talked to said the same thing. Have him check because he did and noticed you can be put on back order and did so for me. He though it was too soon too. =P
I never got a voicemail but I'm on the list, that's all that matters! Do they wait to charge you until you get it? I've never done this before.

however, apparently (this coming from a conv. i had with a CS person) they put a reserve on the amount on your credit (i.e. reserve the money, but do not claim it) so it could affect your available credit even though they haven't charged it yet

I called the 800 number today and was told that they were available to be backordered...then went to the boutique to back order. The SA couldn't find it using this item number. So, I ordered the key fob instead. I may end up calling ordering the other one from the 800 number.
