the sa's are MUCH nicer at this other store. but since i don't go often, i forgot how to get there (don't laugh), so ended up at the other one, since i know how to get there.

what irked me was that one of the people i asked to see the hippie was a MANAGER!!!

:roflmfao: she/he will get karma!! so not kidding. if you simply asked to see the bag, then it is what a secret shopper would typically ask.

and trust me, that manager has to answer to someone, e.g. district manager, who gets pressured from the regional, etc.

if you tell me the store was not busy at all i swear i'll just roll over and choke from laughter.

i know i get pissed when i go to other stores and get ignored, but if i ask for something and i don't get it i will :hysteric: on that person.

we actually have a video on customer service and lots of examples of what not to do, etc.

*hums* looks like someone has to review those training videos!

well, the store WAS decently busy (plus, it's a small store)...but no sa's (or the manager) were actually doing any work, except for the cashier. it would have been TOTALLY different if they were all helping other customers- then i would have just waited my turn. i'm not completely unreasonable.

back to topic, did you decide whether to get signature or leather?

the leather one is more gorgeous IMO even if it's heavier.

I use mine for everyday use. It's heavier than any other day-to-day bag I've ever owned, so when I'm shopping or whatever it can get kind of tiring at the end of a long day. But I agree with what others have said: if it gets too heavy in the hand you can wear it on the shoulder.

It can be carried on the shoulder - the straps are long enough. It's a little cumbersome because of size, and I don't carry it like that most of the time, but it can be done.

It might slip off if you have a bulky coat on (I live in a warm climate, so that's not an issue).

Oh no, I word things wrong. Sorry. Its not weird. The khaki/ebony does not do much for me (in this style, I happen to like the khaki/ebony on the Ali/shoulder bag). The black sig looks nice, I just figure for that much $ leather may be a better choice for me.

And I am sure others don't agree and thats good or we would all have the same bag!
