So now that the studded duffle has been out a long while, what are everyone's opinions on it versus the standard legacy duffle with no studs?
Is the studded look on its way out?
Are the studs holding up well?
If you could choose, would you choose the studded or plain (both black)?
I like the grommets bag too but it's larger and the duffle is already large enough for me.

Hi! I have been debating this question myself after trying on the saddle studded duffle at the outlet. I think the studded duffle looks really edgy and cool but I am not sure how well the studs will look after 2-3 years (then again, getting 2-3 years of use is worth it at the outlet price). I think the plain duffle will remain a classic bag years down the line. Some people think the plain duffle is too boring (not me!). Also, I am wondering if the studded duffle will look better with certain type of clothes. Is the black studded duffle at the outlet too? So are you thinking of getting one?
I wonder about the studs long term too. I saw the black one at a local dept store so not outlet price, but not too bad. I have a plain one in chalk but never use it because it's so white. I don't think it's boring at all, and I love the outside pocket on it. My outlets never have anything good, so I haven't even been in years. Wonder if they have the studded ones now. I love the saddle color - I might get that if I saw one at my outlet!
I have seen the saddle studded duffle at two outlets recently and I think others have reported seeing it too. It's pretty. Maybe you should call your outlet. Let us know if you get it.

Hi! does anyone know how blues of the Midnight Legacy duffle compares to the Navy Legacy perforated duffle or the archival navy/chambray duffle? I have never seen the Midnight - I think it sold out fairly soon in 2012. IBut I do have the navy/citrine wallet and wristlet, as well as the classic duffle in navy.

The Midnight duffle is much darker than the other blue colors. It almost looks black. Please excuse my tres casual look.

Anyone own a pebbled duffle? My ruby one is on its way and I was wondering if anyone had corner wear issues, since most duffle owners said that the regular duffle leather tends to show wear in those areas quickly....
