Are there going to be more???? Is legacy line finished??
I also have a question about a color-- pink scarlet?? Was that color only made for department store?? Thanks!
Hi. I believe the Legacy line - the latest one - is gone. It is my understanding Coach releases a new Legacy line every few years.

I am not sure about the Pink Scarlet being available at Department Stores only vs. Coach. It does appear to be clearance priced at the department stores now - which you may already know.

So I'm not sure what took me so long, but I finally joined the duffle club and I'm completely obsessed! I got lovely new-to-me black and cognac duffles that are both in great shape and perfectly broken in already. The bags are so beautiful and have the perfect combination of structure and slouch. They really suit my lifestyle well. It's taking every ounce of my self-control not to get one in every color! I did order the lime on clearance from FOS and got it Friday. It's completely gorgeous, but I'm feeling paranoid about the color. I Apple Conditioned and Garded it already, but am still a little afraid to use it. Lime (or similar lighter color) owners, how do these hold up? I tend to wear my duffles either on the shoulder with the long strap or crossbody, and I usually wear dark jeans so I'm worried about color transfer. I also know the corners will probably wear a bit and lose some color, but is it much worse on the lighter colors than the darker ones? Thanks!!

Lovely! tnsweetness you are the Duffle Queen in my book! I LOVE looking at your collection........I'm only up to four! :D

Thanks Doll..

I have 19 Duffles....none of mine have any corner wear or color transfer. I am careful not to wear my lemon (which is very light) or Sunflower with dark jeans.
I conditioned all of mine and let dry overnight. Then the next day, I appled a second coat, let that dry and spray with Apple Garde.

Good to know that yours are doing well! Thanks for the advice! I think I'll go ahead and put an extra coat of the conditioner on it and try not to worry about it.

Your duffles are gorgeous- I read this whole thread when I was doing my duffle-research, and your beautiful pictures helped me decide that it's definitely the bag for me!! I love your new one, BTW, it's so pretty! Do the studs make it much heavier than the regular bag?

No, the duffle with studs doesn't seem too much heavier than the regular ones.
Thank you for all your sweet words! ;)

I have sunflower and was worried about color transfer so I conditioned it a bunch before I carried it. I wear jeans all the time. I haven't conditioned it in awhile, but it seems to be fine. I've never had corner wear on any of the duffles I bought new. I bought a used one on ebay that has worn corners. It makes me sad but I love the color so much! I think any corner wear is going to be more noticeable on the darker colors because of the contrast.

Cool, that's what I was hoping to hear! I think I'll condition it one more time before I use it. For some reason the corner wear on the black and cognac doesn't bother me. On the black it just looks a little dull, and on the cognac it looks vintage and kind of cool. However, I bought a used carnelian duffle on ebay and then resold it because it had pretty bad corner color-loss that made me totally crazy! I'm hoping that since I've conditioned this one before using it, it won't lose color like that carnelian one did. Thanks for the reassurance!

you're welcome! Some people on the forum were able to touch up the corners of their duffles with Sharpie-type marker ink. I think you color the marker on a piece of wax paper and then dab the wet ink onto the duffle. It didn't work for me.

You should mix the color marker of the bag with a small amount of leather conditioner and dab it on with your finger. You can also take the bag into a Michaels or any craft store and buy fabric paint, a bit lighter than your bag color, mix it with conditioner and dab on. Let dry after each application and build up to the shade of the bag.

Maybe I'll try again with fabric paint. When I tried it, it soaked in and made it darker but didn't impart any color.
