I bought a 24 pack of sharpies and the colors are great! There are some bright ones too. I would be more scared on a bright one too though. I just dabbed very lightly at first to see the color and then I blended it with my fingers. I don't have a before picture but I'll post an after later

Doesn't that work great!? I also bought a pack of 24 Bic markers from Walmart that have a great selection of colors.

If it's a teeny spot, I use a napkin that I have twisted into a point. But if it's larger, like a lot of the corner, I mark on the end of my index finger then lightly smudge it on the corner.....repeat if necessary. Works great for me, even fuchsia!

I wait until the next day and then spray with Apple rain & stain to help protect the newly colored corners from getting color worn for a while.

Haha that's funny that we both thought of it.

Know why I thought of doing that? Years ago a favorite blue shirt of my daughter's accidentally got a few tiny bleach spots on it.....sooooo, to save her shirt and to keep from hearing her whining, I got creative. It worked and I've employed that tactic on a lot of stuff over the years. Markers are right up there with duct tape! Lol!

Really? So there is a perfect match to fuchsia legacy? I've used the marker trick on black pants before but never on a purse.

Well, not 100 %, more like 97% match. I don't have a fuchsia bag, just accessories, it was a wallet. Sorry, I gave it away so I can't show you a photo. But you couldn't see the difference if you didn't know it was there.

It wasn't a sharpie or a bic marker, it was a marker in an off brand pack. Which had some good matches for legacy colors.

Okay, thanks. I'll have to carry the bag when I go to Walmart to see what matches the best. Right now the spots are sort of blue-gray so anything closer will be an improvement.

I had a bit of corner wear on my black cherry duffle, so I tried a suggestion that I'm fairly sure I'd seen here before...

I first took a red marker and drew a large round filled circle on a piece of plastic (e.g. ziploc bag or clingflim or similar). I used a cotton bud to take a bit of leather moisturiser (have the Coach one), and rubbed that into the marker ink on the plastic. This meant that I ended up with a mix of red and the moisturiser on the cotton bud, which I then applied to the corner with wear.

This actually worked out quite well for me. If I look closely I can still see where there was corner wear, but it's a lot less obvious than it was before. I suspect it may be quite easy to get different colours by mixing primary colours together...
