Looking for a wallet for a friend. She is just now getting into Coach. She has 2 bags. Candace in Marine and Zebra Sand Duffle.

I found her the zippy wallet in marine zebra for her Candace. Now she wants a wallet to match the Sand Zebra duffle. Any suggestions on a good match?

I don't own the zebra sand, but based on my recollection of the color contrast, a few ideas that come to mind:
- legacy bisque/hibiscus perforated wallet;
- camel saffiano wallet - either accordian zip or the medium wallet;
- zippy wallet in light sand/watermelon (although, I think the sand color is deeper than that of the zebra duffle).
- the legacy slim envelope in either light sand or sand or even parchment?

I just checked FOS and also see a medium zip around wallet in light khaki ... many options! I suppose it also depend on how matchy your friend likes her her accessories to be, or if she prefers a touch of contrast. hope this helps!

My large UV Duffle. Love the color, hate the size...wish she was the regular sized one.

i was using my large UV today also, with watermelon accessories for contrast.Personally, i love the large size and haven't tried an insert. I don't usually put in loose, isolated items but have everything in wristlets, pouches and thingys to help me organize stuff, so everything is easily accessible and I don't "lose" my things.

I don't like the larger size, either. I just don't carry enough stuff for it and everything is too far in the bottom of the bag. I got rid of my textured duffle. I still have my Boho Duffle because I love the leather, and it just doesn't seem as big. I use a Jumbo Purse to Go organizer in it and does seem to help. It fits in it very well.

Thank you so much. Excellent list and I will pass on to my friend.

Would like to join with my Classic Duffles in British Tan and Olive Moss. Found the olive one thanks to tpfer Swags!

(My large UV duffle peeking in the background - didn't photograph it since I've seen many member reveal it here.)

Ooh, the leather on the classics look awesome! How do they compare to the new legacy duffle? Does the round bottom on the classic duffle make the bag protrude more than the new legacy duffle? Also is it harder to keep things in the classics due to the round bottom vs the new duffle?

I have a question... I am considering buying a Duffle at FOS, but have heard that the bottom corners of the bag fade a lot and/or scratches show easily. What I am wondering is if the color has any impact on these things? I would imagine lighter colors show less scratches and fading... Is that the case, or does it not matter? TIA!

I have read many times about corner wear. My UV is like a month old so she's not old enough to give me grief yet, lol. I don't see myself carrying it that much for it to become an issue though...gotta rotate the bags so no one gets jealous!

the classic does protrude a little bit since the round bottom basically maintains it's shape when i carry it. but i don't feel it gets in the way. since i don't fill it up too much, the top slouches in nicely. i don't find it any harder to find things in the classic duffle vs the large legacy duffle, since i carry all my things in pouches and wristlets - typically i carry 2 large legacy wristlets, sunglass case, sometimes a wallet or flat wristlet for receipts, 2 phones and keys. i clip the keys outside the bag for easy access.

but I do find the single pocket limiting. the interior and exterior pockets of the legacy duffle are definitely an advantage for phones or small loose items. the other thing is that since the classic duffle is not lined, some tiny bits of leather sometimes get on my accesories... regardless, i love both styles of duffles :smile1: HTH!

I am not rough on my bags at all. My sunflower duffle doesn't show any wear. I treated it with conditioner before I used it. My colorblock duffle which has tan corners is darkened there already even though I haven't used it much. I bought a fuchsia duffle on ebay that already had wear on the corners.

I have three of them (cobalt, cognac, and mint) and it really hasn't been a problem for me. I treated them all with Apple Garde. I'm not sure if that made a difference maybe I am just gentle on my bags ...but I doubt the latter is true because I wear them while I am with my three year old son. The cobalt has some color loss on one corner but I remember exactly when I did it when I was trying to walk through a tight space so I blame that more on myself. I love the duffles more than any other Coach bag so to me it is worth the risk of corner wear.
