Leaving bangles on vs. taking them off at end of day

Do you wear your bangle with a clasp all the time or do you take it off at the end of the day?

All my jewelry stays on except my VCA alhambra since I don’t want to ruin the stones by wearing in the shower, etc. But the rest of my bracelets, rings, and necklaces that are just gold, or gold with diamonds/ruby stay on. I’m too lazy to take things off every day. I do throw on a sports band over them on my wrist if I’m exercising, etc.

I wear very often 13 gold bangles (that I purchased in Italy many years ago), so they come off when I come home
along with my shoes & my bra (LOL) at that..
I don't shower, sleep or cook with my rings or bracelets on.
When I watch various cooking shows & see the chefs mixing various ingredients especially with their
rings on, I kinda cringe.
Agree with you! At home, unless we have guests, no jewelry, no shoes, no bra. 😄

I leave all the bracelets on my right wrist on 24/7.
The Love for obvious reasons, the Trinity because it's a faff to get on and off and the T wire and Dinh Van because I don't like to keep bending the wire on a daily basis. The Tiffany bracelet in particular I feel gets out of shape if you bend it too often and leaving it on is no problem.
My watch and any necklaces I take off at night.
I do take off the wire bracelets and my engagement ring every couple of weeks or so and pop them in a sonic cleaner just remove any build up of soap from the shower.

I was thinking about my T wire… how long have you been wearing it?

Oh only around six or seven months, but I felt like the gap between the Ts started to get very very slightly wider and slightly misaligned (I've also noticed on some older ones I've seen online this seems to be the case) so I (carefully!) bent it back into shape and left it on after that!
I also read something somewhere about Tiffany testing it by bending it several thousand times before it broke. I can't remember how many times, but I remember thinking if I wear it daily that's 728 times a year on and off, so in 10 years 7,280. After all, any wire is going to eventually break if it's continuously bent.

I spoke to the SA in Tiffany about it and she said she preferred to just put her jewellery on, leave it on and forget about it. Just take it off when it needed cleaning. So that's what I do.

Thank you for this information ❤️ I appreciate it!

Can anyone explain how clasp bangles differ from twist bangles? What makes you choose one over the other?
The twist bangles are held on by tension, and you need to gently open and slide off your wrist sideways to remove, whereas the clasp bangles use a locking mechanism opposite a hinge for removal. I hope that helps!
