Leaving bangles on vs. taking them off at end of day

Do you wear your bangle with a clasp all the time or do you take it off at the end of the day?

I own several clasp bangles and I wonder about the wear and tear of taking them off everyday vs. leaving them on.
I wonder if that will eventually wear out/break the clasp?
Also, this post pertains to bracelets that twist on/off; better to leave on to maintain shape or does it even matter?
I personally could leave mine on 24/7 as I am not in a position in life that would damage them by doing so, but I realize that by doing so, I would probably need to be a bit more mindful.
Would love to hear your thoughts!

Jewelry is the last thing I put on after I get dressed. ( So no sleeves or necklines get caught on metal)
It is the second thing, after shoes, that comes off when I get home. My whole family does this.

i have a cuff with a clasp and a bracelet that twists off. No issues or loosening of the last or the twist mechanism.
But if I did have an issue, I’d simply get it checked; everything eventually requires cleaning, maintenance, or repair,
or other aftermarket services. I did have an issue with my Bulgari tubogas (unrelated to the twist) and brought it in.
It was checked and polished so it looks brand new. No charge.

Thank you! I worry about the wear and tear. Good to know it’s not an issue! I always take off my rings at the end of the day as my hands swell when I sleep.

All jewelry comes off as soon as I come home—mostly because I have a pet bird with a very strong beak who loves to peck at shiny things on me. He completely ignores expensive jewelry sitting on a valet tray on a counter inches away from him, but on me, the temptation to peck is too great. He wants my jewelry gone—especially earrings.

I have had box clasps with tongues (both necklaces and bracelets) wear out over many years, but they are easily repaired.

So funny about your bird only pecking at the jewelry on you!

I take off all jewelry before shower or bed, it's not comfortable for me to wear it then and I don't want to ruin my pieces.

Goodness yes birds love shiny things! I would definitely take my jewelry off so they wouldn’t break it with their beak!

I have to take everything off whenever I'm exercising, taking a shower, or sleeping. Just doesn't feel quite right wearing jewelry when doing any of that. If any clasps or whatever get broken, I'd just get them fixed, it's not a problem, really.

That is true, I probably just need to find a good jeweler in the event of the clasps needing repair!

I don’t remove my jewellery, period (unless it’s rings, except for my e-ring and wedding band).
It depends, I leave my Cartier D’Amour necklace on 24/7 and only comes off to get cleaned. I always take my rings off, as my fingers swell when I am asleep. I remove bracelets that aren’t comfortable, like my Pandora & Trollbeads bracelets and anything that has prong set stones.
