Thanks girls!! I'm super happy on how they turned out. The black and silver one I remade, so I essentially made the same bracelet twice because the first one wasn't good enough IMO. It takes some practice to make, but once you get the hang of it, it gets really easy. Here is the tutorial I used: http://www.how-to-make-jewelry.com/how-to-create-a-beaded-leather-wrap-bracelet.html

The tutorial wasn't enough though, I had to read it over and over again and then actually do it myself physically. It took me around 15 minutes to figure it out.

Longchamp usually do a range of leather bracelets in different colour leathers [some of which come with a little bag charm which is cute - sorry camera not working at the moment so can't post a photo].

Lalique also do leather bracelets and cuffs in different colours - there were a couple on Ebay last week but not sure if they are still there...

I don't own any Chan Luu ones, but I've made some for myself and for my mom and I wear mine pretty often. I like them a lot!! They're very much in style right now. I've seen them everywhere in department stores and even in stores like American Eagle.

I've seen the Chan Luu ones in person, the beads are really tiny and her leather is super soft and supple. Here is a picture of her wraps:

I found a tutorial online and taught myself how to make them. They're fairly easy to make, it's just time consuming and tedious. Here are two I made for myself:

My only concern for these leather wrap bracelets is that if you have tiny wrists like me, the wraps might fit fairly loose on you...I tried on the Chan Luu ones and they're pretty big on me. I've always had trouble finding bracelets that fit me. It's super frustrating. Does anybody have the Chain and leather Double Wrap bracelet by CC Skye? I think it's around $348 dollars. I've been thinking of buying it but as you already know my dilemma is having tiny wrists that I'm afraid to spend the big bucks just to discover it's way too big for me.

Hi! I'm brand spanking new to this forum but I am so taken by your hand-made bracelets. I was wondering (hoping:graucho:) that you would share the website for the tutorial on how to make these. I really love the idea of personalizing these so they become more meaningful as well as decorative! TIA:p

I just ordered this one a few days ago.

I wanted something fun and I'm going through a charm phase so this fit the bill.

There's also this one as I thought it would be interesting to mix a diamond with leather.

wow, thats amazing that you made these! I'm gonna have to see if I can use that website you posted and try my luck at this, I love these bracelets, but I refuse to spend so much money on something I'm sure only cost $20 bucks (not even) to make!

Yeah, these bracelets are really cool. Hey, it's always a plus when fashion can stem from a craft project! Next up will be high fashion macaroni necklaces...ok, maybe not. These bracelets are awesome though! The ones at Goyard look especially nice.

As a novice jewelry designer, I went crazy trying to duplicate Chan Luu's simple yet elegant wrap bracelets. I couldn't seem to wrap my brain around the instructions on "How to Make Jewelry" either, Xlana! I've since collected a variety of tutorials with alternative stitch patterns and as a small mountain of beaded wrap bracelets which I love to wear! I'm posting my current fave tutorial which features Luu's Turquoise leather wrapped bracelet. The instructions are clear and concise with gorgeous images:

Hi Xlana!
I just love the bracelets you've made! <3 They're perfect! Can you make a (Youtube) video tutorial of it please? I found a tutorial online as well but unfortunatelly, English is not my first language, so I would love to follow a step-by-step video instead of just reading! If you decide to do this please let me know! < Thanks so much! > Best wishes xxx
