I think it is lighter in color than fauve, but it is different than the color of gold in togo. Gold togo has more of a yellow undertone in person, iirc. Jonathan and togo also won't darken over time like fauve barenia does.

It is very similar to swift in terms of hand feel and appearance (some people think veau jonathan is actually the same leather as swift), but it is lined with chevre instead of swift which makes it more structured.

Swift is very light. I don't think jonathan is quite as light because it is lined in chevre, but it is still overall on the light side and MUCH lighter in weight than togo.

so good to know! Yes heard togo a bit heavy.. do u know if the barenia is as heavy as the togo? Maybe I should consider swift hmm
