It had previously looked as though the acrimonious relationship between LeAnn Rimes and her former love rival Brandi Glanville was beginning to heal.
But following recent events, things had visibly taken a turn for the frosty at Brandi and Eddie Cibrian's sons' soccer game over the weekend.
LeAnn and Eddie kept their distance from Miss Glanville during the match, while the reality star looked decidedly out of sorts.
Country star LeAnn, 29, and Eddie, 38 last week blocked his sons Jake and Mason from appearing on Brandi's show The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Brandi is said to be furious over the move, and also accused her ex-husband of leaking the information to the press during a subsequent Twitter rant.
The situation was clearly as tense as ever when the feuding exes ran into each other at the soccer game, with Brandi making little effort to conceal her anger.
The 39-year-old former model, wearing a blue jumpsuit, sat metres apart from the couple on the ground, looking stony-faced.
At one point Eddie ventured over from the couple's chairs in the shade, but LeAnn, wearing white shorts and a flimsy nude top, kept a possessive arm wrapped around him.
RadarOnline reported this week that Eddie and LeAnn had forbidden The Real Housewives from filming his children.
It is a bitter blow for Miss Glanville as she had been set to become a full housewife, but is now allegedly relegated to the position of a 'friend' of the show's stars.
According to RadarOnline, the show's network Bravo pulled the plug on her offer after she was forced to tell the network that her children would not be allowed to appear on camera.
A source said: 'Bravo wanted her to have her kids on the show in order to expand story lines. But Leann and Eddie wouldn't allow it.'
The fact that LeAnn had a say in the decision will be a particularly bitter pill for the former model to swallow, as she was still married to Eddie when she started her affair with him in 2009.
The pair, who were both married, then filed for divorce from their respective spouses and tied the knot in April 2011.
According to the insider, the model was confident the couple would allow her to have their children on the show as they had appeared before.
And many will be wondering how big a part the singer had in her husband's decision to veto the move, particularly as it would have again shone the spotlight on their affair.
The source said: 'Brandi didnt expect that LeAnn and Eddie would have objections since the kids have been on the show before, but they did.
'Eddie said they did not want the children on camera on a regular basis.
So Bravo said that Brandi would have to stay "friend" and not become an official "housewife."'
The decision will cost Brandi a small fortune in lost earnings as a star in the show, not to mention lucrative spin-off opportunities.
