that's what i thought. but just bc she doesn't tour/doesn't have hits now doesn't mean anything. could mean her family made sure she didn't squander her money when she was young and made sound investments for her

Exactly- which is why I've decided that I am coming back as a has-been singer or unemployed actor in my next life. Nonstop vacations? Yes, please!

She's never really been one that you have heard about partying it up, constantly buying new houses and cars, etc. I would guess someone (her parents, her, whoever) has been smart with her money.

She has quite a big fan base and she is still pretty popular. She's one the biggest country singers. She's sold a sh*tload of albums(37 mill+) so i bet just the royalties off that are in the tens of millions. She could easily live off all the money she's made.

It's so funny that we were discussing how much money she has and then yesterday Wendy Williams talked about the same thing. She basically said that Leann is loaded and Eddie is mooching off of her. I didn't realize that she made so much money off her albums (though I do love her voice), but good for her, if that's the case.

Even though it seems like they are on extended vacations, what some people don't realize is that celebs get often get complimentary stays at some of these higher end properties. Sometimes even private jet service.

You know when they have the gifting suits for various awards shows, in those bags are certificates for hotels, airlines, charter jets, etc...

Oh yes .. the 'swag'; makes me sick .. given that these are the folks who could actually afford it! However, I do understand the promotional aspects of what the hotels/airlines are doing .. just wish it could go to 'regular' folks every once in a while! ;)
