The Playboy Club star insisted that his wife does not suffer from an eating disorder and insisted her slim look was down to exercise.

The country singer has faced criticism from fans and even other celebrities for her often painfully thin figure.

But Cibrian,38, insisted there was nothing wrong with his wife and said he is angered by people who have spoken out about her weight.
Too thin? LeAnn Rimes, pictured here in London this week, 'works out like crazy', according to her husband Eddie Cibrian

'It bothers me because, obviously, I know she’s healthy. She eats more than I do sometimes,' he said.

'She’s just a very [conscientious] eater, as far as what she eats. She eats pretty healthy, but she works out pretty hard too and she actually takes pride in the way she looks and it’s a shame that people will jump on the bandwagon just because she is fit. And she’s far from unhealthy.'

Cibrian said his 28 year old country superstar wife complements her eating with a lot of exercise.

'She works out like crazy. She works out hard. She boxes. She trains,' he told Access Hollywood.
Slender: The singer has come under criticism for her very skinny appearance
Cibrian's comments are directed to E! host Giuliana Rancic who offended his wife by saying she was the celebrity who needed feeding the most.

The size zero presenter was talking about an Italian restaurant she was opening and suggested Rimes could do with feeding up.

'She lost a lot of weight from all the stress in her life,' she said. 'She seems a little thin right now, and I think she looks great when she's a bit curvier.' Rancic said.

But Rimes hit back on her Twitter account to defend her figure.

'Hey, we should go to dinner sometime. You get criticized all the time for how small you are. You can see just HOW much I eat and maybe put a stop to this crazy 'shrinking' once and for all.....oh, & then we should work out together! Good luck with your restaurant!!!!,' she wrote.

Rimes weight has concerned many of her fans as she has showed off her increasingly gaunt figure in a series of bikinis and outfits while out with her husband.

It is well known that Brandi Glanville and LeAnn Rimes are not the best of friends.
Especially after the country music star broke up the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star's marriage to Eddie Cibrian and went on to marry him herself.
And the 29-year-old singer's latest comments are likely to rile the 38-year-old reality star even further.

New family: LeAnn Rimes says she treats husband Eddie Cibrian's children, Mason seven, and Jake, four, all pictured here, from his marriage to Brandi 'as if they are my own'
LeAnn has said that she treats Eddie's children, Mason seven, and Jake, four, from his marriage to Brandi 'as if they are my own'.
'Eddie has always encouraged me to look at us as a family, and a part of our family are the two beautiful boys that we share with their mother and hopefully one day another wonderful man,' she wrote in her blog.
'Society will always call me a stepmom,' she added.
'...In our house, in our family, we remove the 'step.' We really are all... simply family.'
In the blog which she posted on Monday, LeAnn says she doesn't consider herself a step-mother.
The real deal: In the blog which she posted on Monday, LeAnn says she doesn't consider herself a step-mother
'Step. Stepmother, Stepfather, Stepchildren... the word 'step' can take on such a connotation to so many in our society,' she said.

'A family is a family. In my eyes. There's no 'step' about it.'
But LeAnn insisted that she is not trying to take Brandi's place.

'One thing that I know is, I will never replace their mother,' she said.

'I would never try. I will however love them with all I have and do everything in my power to help raise them in a loving, safe and proper environment.'
Beware: The 29-year-old singer's latest comments are likely to rile the children's real mother Brandi Glanville
She admits being a 'step' isn't easy for all involved.
'It's not easy being a stepparent, taking on a mother or father role in your new blended family and household,' she said.
'It can be incredibly intimidating.'
But she said that despite the difficulties the show must go on, and that it is 'important to take the high road for the kids' sake and ultimately your own.'
Eddie and LeAnn married this year in April in a surprise ceremony in Malibu.
Single mother: Brandi was left a single mother after Eddie left her in 2009 and went on to marry LeAnn

The couple met on the set of their film Northern Lights in 2009, but were both married at the time.
They began an extra-marital affair, which later surfaced, leading to Cibrian and his then wife of seven years Brandi, with whom he has two children, to seek divorce.
LeAnn also divorced her former husband Dean Sheremet in 2009 after falling in love with her Northern Lights co-star.

I like her McCartney dress, shoes are all wrong though.

Not a fan of her at all but she usually wears cute shoes and clothes. They rarely look great on her but the individual pieces are usually nice.
