I keep reading that the NYT best seller list is not an accurate accounting of real best seller status. It's not an accurate indicator of sales and the data isn't correct.

Is Sassys here? Maybe she can tell us if she thinks Lea's book is really selling that well, or not. Or any NYT best seller, for that matter.

Data is correct. She sold over 100K since it went on sale last week (this includes pre-sales). The 100K is what customers actually bought, not what the stores bought (register sales).

I enjoyed the book. Chapter 2 bummed me out, but after that it got funny again. It was just as much about her life as scientology. It helped to have watched her reality show because I felt like I knew the family and the profanity didn't bother me because I knew that was part of her personality and she wasn't necessarily angry.
