I'm so glad you asked this; I've also been looking at latico at endless.com and I WANT one in the gorgeous electric blue shade I'm seeing... Don't see them too much in stores...
i first saw these in an endless email, too! there are two styles i've been wanting for a while. i found them both for a good amount cheaper on ebagsbuy or something but i am trying to be good and not spend full price on them.

i too was told they were found often in marshalls/tjmaxx but haven't seen any in my local stores in the last three months. boo.

Yes, I think it is headquartered in NJ. They have a website that shows styles, but you can't order through them. I picked up a latico bag at a store in Phily (no longer open), on ebay, and through an online store. For the price point, they are well made. I do like the leathers on my RMs a lot better, but then you pay for it. I think their quality is similar to some Kenneth Cole bags I have. And the styles I have are lightweight!!

Couple bad comments: The stitching on the latico tag is coming off on one bag. Also I have a briefcase style tote in a light lilac color that was badly water stained. Probably my fault though because I didn't waterproof it first.

And I don't have any dust bags for mine. Do they come with?

I have two - one is my computer work bag, been carrying it for years with computer parts and so forth, and it looks new. The other is a washed-leather portfolio/brief in a lovely dark pink color that I haven't carried in a while, but it's still like the other one - looks new. They hold up very well.

The quality of the bags reminds me of Hobo International. In fact - I can't PROVE this - but I've often thought (when looking at the bags in person) that they were by HI, until I saw the Latico tag - so I've thought they might be made by the same company. LOL.

I've never seen them come with a dust bag.

I have heard that Latico makes bags for another label, can't recall which one now... I have a couple and like them a lot. A cute black patent satchel that looks a lot like a Not Rational Sub, and a huge Chocolate patent duffle that I found on Amazon for only $125. Check Amazon for Latico bags, I've seen them for really cheap every now and then. Just the other day they had a cute Latico for only $40.

I just purchased a Latico bag at my local retailer and its just beautiful. Its called the Mimi Shoulder Bag and I got the purple. The leather is really nice. It came with a dust bag so maybe this is new for them.

One question, can I treat this leather? What should I use? When I called Latico, they said not to use anything but I want the bag to last and not get all scratched up. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If I remember correctly, the type of leather I saw on a Latico bag is that it is a washed leather... you want this leather to breathe. The more it breathes, the more it acquires a beautiful patina over time. Scratches are normal part of the process, because it gets burnished back into a patina over time.
