Hope I can get some info in this thread. I'm going to Vegas in Oct. My flight lands about 4 hours before my mom and sister (girls trip). We aren't getting a rental car but I want to do the outlets specifically for coach. Any guestimates on how far it is from airport to each outlet? I'm thinking while waiting for them I can take a cab to outlet or even both and get my shopping done before they arrive as they don't care about going.
Is it far enough away from airport that it will cost a fortune to get a cab? Approximates are great just trying to get an idea.

Was just there last weekend but I didn't fly in. I do know, however, that the Las Vegas Premium outlet South is less than 5 miles away. The LV North outlet is about twice that distance. Shouldn't take that long to get to the South one (10-15 mins?) but going to the North one is unpredictable because of the traffic on the Strip.

Going to either one would be at least $30+. When people stay in Vegas, they rely on the buses that drive the strip and yes, going from one end to the other takes an eternity. The cab would take you straight to the mall avoiding the strip. I would suggest the north outlets as they are better in my opinion. I took a cab from north outlets to the resort I was staying at off the strip my first trip there because I panicked. It cost me $25. I couldn't find a single English speaking person to get directions from to get on the right bus! Unknowingly, I had taken the regular city bus to the outlet which avoided the strip. And I was trying to take the same one back. After that, I quickly learned my way around let me tell you lol!
The city bus 'Westcliff Airport Express' actually picks up and drops off from the airport and it goes to the outlets. It runs every hour. You just have to make sure of the times. Look up the schedules on www.rtcsnv.com
It's $5 for a 24 hour pass.

This is good to know. I've been wanting to go to Vegas forever but I'm not much interested in gambling. At least there is an easy way to get to the outlets if I don't want to rent a car. Thanks.

Thanks finally figured out I got 30+ 30 on my purchase today. I don't know why they keep changing it. It is very confusing and only a few $ less than a straight 50%. Oh well, every little bit helps.

300 Boxes, Oh my! Hope we are in for major deletes.

Grey white lilly??.

I think this may be the bag I saw a Jackson today. I don't know why they had only one of each thing on the shelf. Now I'm thinking I should have asked what they had in the back because a sales person brought out some baby bags for someone and now that I think of it they may have been deletes. One was the ticking stripe bag.

Yes, I braved the GW Bridge and traffic to get there! A bonus is I finally found the Dairy Queen around there. Love Dairy Queen but none in NY and most of the ones that were easy to get to in north NJ closed. Last year, my mother and I went to the outlet and every time we leave NY we do a search for Dairy Queens and they are always too far off the beaten path. Well, we did one and it wasn't too far or so it seemed. We went all over the world and it wasn't there (some Buffet place instead but a new search found another nearby. But we wouldn't go all the way out there again.

Last week?? when I went to get my Gathered Hot Pink Juliette I made a wrong turn and ended up going around in a long circle around pastures and such to get to the outlet and my mother said she saw a Dairy Queen. I didn't see it because I was driving and it was hidden back from the road. Upon leaving the outlet, I asked a sales girl in a store and she gave me directions and we had a good old time there. So this time I stopped again. I almost missed it again today because it is hard to see. I asked the guy there for an address because it does not show up on any GPS look up I try.

Sorry for the long story. ;)

I love hearing that you go shopping with your Mom and how you both enjoy Dairy Queen.
My daughter is busy with work and kids (with all their activities) so we seldom go shopping together.
