Going to Vegas for a trip in the next few months, do you all think it’s worth it to visit the Vegas H stores? I’m pretty dedicated to my lovely SA back home and don’t want to be tempted to buy something when I can just get at my home store.

What do y’all usually do when traveling? Just browse only or buy items that you know you won’t be able to get at home? Or take a chance and ask for a B/K/C, cuz why not?

I have 2 accounts under H because they used my Chinese name but I usually do have the chance to buy and "cheat" haha. I do believe Vegas has a bigger supply of quota bags as I get almost all my quota bags for Vegas but you would have to spend a bit to get offered one as a walk in, but who knows? you can get very lucky! (Got my Lizard Kelly almost 8 years ago as a walk in!) Also, they have some nice pieces! spotted a pink matte croc CDC but sadly GHW so I didn't buy.

My home store is in the US. When I’m traveling domestically, I usually visit other H stores because I enjoy seeing their floor plans. I never buy anything though! Your SA can easily see your purchase history. A one-day romance with another H store could ruin your relationship with your home store imo.

My exception is fsh and my H fairy happily acknowledges that infidelity because the prices are too irresistible!

Thanks for sharing! I’m thinking of sticking to the same SA as well, but she’s has encouraged me on occasion to visit other flagship stores when traveling. :/ dunno how to interpret that!!

Ah that’s great you have two established profiles! I don’t think I travel enough to be able to do that, and I’m also trying to be patient on getting a quota bag since I’m pretty content with what I have right now. Buuuuut if I am lucky enough to score a walk-in offer cuz the moons and stars align and I get a winning hand at poker....then I figured I might as well try!!

I just tried walking into Encore. An older SA named Iwawa wasn’t too nice. asked me where I was from and I said Cali. She said oh there are some stores there and I said yes, there is Beverly Hills and SCP. I said they aren’t too friendly and to my surprise, she replied that we all are like that. Too busy she said. Kind of a standoffish reply. I was hoping a younger SA would approach me but she kept following me around.

I’m going to try another store tonight. Hopefully might have better luck at a BK or K bag? Maybe I should just ask for someone TPFers have recommended.

There are two other H stores in Vegas. Give them a shot. The encore store is really hit or miss. I can see that happening there. Lots of TPFers have great experiences at the bellagio. But, I wouldn’t expect to have luck as a new customer without spending some fyi. Maybe in a large size B you could get away without spending too much. Best of luck!

Tonight is actually my last night. I don’t mind spending some but some people have told me don’t be so straightforward. But sometimes if you’re not straightforward, you won’t get what you want.I just got a bad vibe at Encore and wasn’t really willing to stick around and wait for someone else.

Just my two cents, start by looking at slg's, silks, jewelry, perfume... the SA's make commission on those, make a "pile" that you know you'll buy no matter what, then start chatting about leathers and colors you like, what catches your eye, what is your "dream bag" i.e. show you are a collector and educated, the SA's appreciate clients that appreciate the house . Then see where that leads, that you are needing a new "home" store, that you can travel to Vegas e.t.c.. ... that will likely spark a conversation about your interest in bags and while one night might be offered this time they would certainly keep in touch with you if you gave them a wish list of items colors Styles Etc start with maybe a Picotin or an Evie.. i love love the Bellagio....dm me for referral to SA at Bellagio that is lovely.

I’ve heard that the spend limits in Las Vegas are lower than other states. If you ladies don’t mind, you can DM me and let me know your experiences? How much do you have to spend and what were you offered? I’m really looking for a size 25 because that fits my lifestyle but those are probably higher spend amounts and typically the second bag offered if I’m not mistaken.

YY is actually very nice...she's fairly straightforward and direct though. Encore is a smaller store right now so it's harder to get bags there.
You'll probably have better luck at Crystals and Bellagio.
Vegas is an interesting market as most of the clients are from out of town but still are loyal and spend $$$. They are more open to catering to visitors obviously than some other stores.

I start to make some small purchases like cashmere scarfs , belts , wallets, perfumes ) in NY , Dallas , SCP , Encore but I don’t feel the light until I stop by - now home store Crystals . You will pay more for the hot cake for sure but first of all you need an SA can really work with you , let he/she know is you want to become their store’s life time client , make first purchase ticket about 3k+ with that SA then he/she can let you know exactly how make it work to get it done ... Good luck.

FYI...for the first time in a long time, the Las Vegas Hermes stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. I am happy for my SAs that they now get to spend the holidays with their families!
That’s fantastic! Will it just be this year or will it be standard from now on? I always thought it was kinda crappy that they had to work those days (Christmas especially)
