Las Vegas Hermes

Any recent QB offers from any of the Vegas boutiques lately? Would love to hear recent finds and if the stores are getting shipments as we approach the holidays.
K28, and I saw someone being offered a B25 in what looked like a bright blue/turquoise, I couldn't really tell from afar. I wanted to get closer since it looked like such a pretty color but didnt want to seem nosy LOL

I recently walked into the Crystals shop and met with a sales specialist that I am not sure how I felt back then, but now confirmed wasn't very pleased with the experience.

First, I sort of liked that she was very upfront about leather availability, and that I need to build my history at the store.
Second, I sort of disliked that she asked for my phone number to look up my client information, but failed to scroll my info to see my history.

We were in town to celebrate belated wedding anniversary, my birthday, plus seeing Adele. You want me to shop? YOU GOT IT. I wanted to buy something for myself for bday, had my husband greenlight to purchase anything I wanted that weekend with a very high budget, I also had my cousin who wanted to purchase a birthday present, my uncle and aunt wanting a SLG for them and for me.

However, I was hugely disappointed when the SA kept redirecting her sales attempts at my aunt who wasn't interesting in buying any RTW. I was ready, but without scanning the tag for size availability, SA said they didn't have the sizes. Shoes, no. SLGs, no. Accessories, no. Leather goods, well they have some, but wouldn't sell it to me because I have to build history (legitimately listed an exact same B35 I already have at home, down to leather color, hardware, size, leather type). All 5 of us walked out without buying a single thing...

I have a work conference next week in Vegas, should I pack different H RTW, shoes, bags, jewelry everyday I am there to shop with a different SA?

I think inventory is just legitimately low and you might be taking this more personally than it’s meant. That bag she told you about was probably already on hold for a long term client. The other items were probably just actually out of stock. Hermes stores really value loyalty so I would recommend sticking with your home store for best results, since most stores are so low in stock of everything anyway and most items will need to be sourced by an SA who is invested in helping you for more than just one day/shopping trip.

Thank you for that insight and you are absolutely right. Inventory is low all around, and my size may not have been available.

The thing that bothered me was that she kept pulling items for my (petite) aunt to try, which my aunt wasn't interested in (at least 5 times), when I asked for an item from RTW, shoes, accessories, I was quickly dismissed. She must have been aware of each department's inventory well enough.

Thank you for your feed back.

I’ve also heard of Vegas SAs specifically, telling tourists from CA to “try their home stores” when they see they have a profile elsewhere and come in asking for leather items. They don’t seem to like the social media driven fallacy that they are a quick hit location as opposed to a relationship driven business like all other H stores.

I wonder if they only had petite sizes available and maybe that is why she seemed to favour your Aunt…

I’m sure they are asked about size eight shoes/ size ten RTW every other minute, unfortunately. (Not saying those are your sizes but they are more common)

Crystals is my home store - I have a long history/profile with my SA... and even I have a difficult time getting things in my size, trust me - this was not personal. :hugs:

Inventory truly is low from a cohort perspective, and to be honest, I have no idea what the deal is with Crystals, but they are just so hit or miss on what they get in. They are desperately lacking in RTW and shoes, SLG you can basically forget about, and even homewares leave a lot to be desired... I always try to pick up a few extra items when I pick up a QB from my SA, and last month there was literally nothing to buy. Nothing. Anyhow, hope that this helps you.. you weren't being picked on or dismissed I'm sure.

You can if you want to. But that doesn't mean that an SA will automatically be nicer to you and that you'll get what you want. I will not deny that I noticed that in general, SAs are "more accommodating" when I have nice jewelry/watch on. Don't know if that is just coincidental though. But when you become a regular client of a particular store, your relationship to the staff and your buying power is more important than what you wear.
Now back to the LV boutique, yes, you do have to establish a relationship too (meaning you buy items from them consistently) to get "popular items".
You did the right thing though by not buying from an SA that you don't have a connection with or that you don't prefer to conduct business with. Hope you find the one that is cool with you and the one you are cool with too on your next visit to the boutique.

My home store is Cystals, the stock is extremely limited. The only items my SA were able to show me were extremely small sizes; Im assuming she was trying her best to help out with the current stock they have. All the jewelry they had were the smallest size and same with RTW.
