Hello. I'm new to the Hermes game. I currently have an SA with my local store. However, I'm going to Vegas for the weekend with my friends soon and would like to try my luck at the Vegas stores.
Does anyone know if purchasing at a Las Vegas Hermes store will affect the relationship with your local Hermes SA?
Does it help if I already have an account with history purchase?

TIA.
With Hermes, loyalty to a single store and single SA is of utmost importance. Purchasing from Vegas will likely hurt your home store relationship (”why didn’t she buy that from me and give me the commission?”) and Vegas will see your home profile and know you aren’t a long term client for them. Besides, inventory everywhere, including Vegas, is at an all time low so even finding something there to buy will be challenging and a bag, especially quota bag, will be impossible. Vegas has long standing loyal customers like all other stores and coveted items are held and offered to their client list.

My SA told me previously it won’t affect anything as she also understands I may want to make purchases when I’m on vacation. The store looks at the majority of purchases being at the home store and won’t care about odd items here and there (at least that’s what my SA told me). I also don’t think it helps your chances much either since you’ve yet to establish a relationship with a new SA. I think building a rapport with the SA is more important than your purchase history when you first meet them since they don’t open your purchase history the first thing you get there. Have fun and hope you get some goodies when you’re there!

Thank you so much for the insights. I was thinking this too but needed confirmation.
Also keep in mind that each store’s budget for podium ordering bags is determined by the amount of sales that store has had in the other categories. Keeping your spend loyal to your home store increases your home store’s allotment of quota bags which then correspondingly increases the likelihood that you will receive one. Money spent elsewhere is doubly wasted (doesn’t help your profile and doesn’t help your store get more bags).

I think it could affect your relationship with your local SA because they are very big into store loyalty as well as sa loyalty.

I am currently in Vegas this weekend. Was able to visit Crystals and Wynn. Stock is pretty low.

Crystals
Saw 3 picotins offered at Crystals, 2 18s and one 22. I only saw the boxes being carried by the SA as they were walking with their clients. I was offered a picotin or herbag myself, but I already own an herbag and wasn’t interested in a picotin. So I didn’t inquire what size or color the picotin was. It seemed they just got shipment. I purchased Oran sandals and Izmir sandals for my husband. They have a decent selection of fine jewelry and watches. RTW was bare.

Wynn
I was looking for marble silks. Crystals had none, the Wynn only had the twilly. Of course I got it! Wynn had more houseware stock than Crystals. Slightly more RTW. But watch and fine jewelry were not as much as Crystals.

Both stores had lines outside. It’s busy!

Hi everyone! I'm looking to start my Hermes journey for a quota bag in LV. I'm visiting in a few weeks and plan to go to all three of the Hermes stores. Does anyone have any recommendations for an SA from any of the three stores? I'm hoping to make one of the LV stores my home store. What is the spend ratio for a quota bag in LV compared to Beverly Hills? BH is the store near me, but I've read the the spend ratio there can be pretty high.

To be honest with you, you might have a better chance at BH. Even though it may seem competitive at BH, they get way more stocks than any of these 3 stores in Vegas. A friend’s friend has received multiple mini lindy and quota bags at BH with reasonable spending ratio. If you really want to start your journey in Vegas, Wynn is probably the best.

Congratulations on your bag! Kelly n ghw, such a rarity n beautiful combi So happy for u☺️
Wonder if the pre spend is 1:1 before they offer u the quota bag? I heard some spent more than this
I m thinking if I should start on Hermes journey but worried if this will lead to a no end in sight of a quota bag being offered eventually. Pretty much done with my Chanel collection already

Is it becoz BH folks spend more hence they qualify faster for the quota bag?

My spend was 1:1 but I can only speak from my experience. I know others spend a lot more. However my SA is wonderful and gave me the assurance that I was getting my bag for my loyalty to the brand.

I buy only what I love and buy from various departments. Sometimes I make large purchases sometimes I just buy something small. I spread my purchases and buy something a month. If I'm not in store I order through the phone with my SA.

Overall I am not pushy and don't pressure her to get me a quota bag right away. I think just buying what I love eventually came to her offering me the bag.
