I didn't even consider the mini till I saw all your pics. Now I'm wondering if I should trade my regular for the mini. I have the regular in graphite and don't consider it overly large. And I feel like the mini would be a tad too small. But maybe not!

I'm a big bag person but I'm very impressed that this carries what I need. Now, I'm on a mini vacation and not carrying my daily stuff, so.... At the same time, it may make me think twice about what I 'need' to carry, and it will definitely be better on my back, which has been giving me trouble with helping my dad up and down out of chairs/cars, pushing in wheelchair (a good 100 lbs more than me), etc.

I've already thought about a second one in a more year round color.

Well I stuck with my sea mist regular size! I looked at the mini a LOT and loved it. It's so cute. But I feel like I'd have to pick and choose what to carry or arrange things a certain way. And I often throw something in my bag to carry in from my car (like an empty coffee tumbler) and I wouldn't be able to do that with the mini.

I also debated between keeping the sea mist or exchanging for the ecru with sea mist trim. In the end, I decided I fell in love with this color for a reason and I should keep the one I had!

While at the store, I also looked at the Cafe Carryall in sea mist they'd just put out and it was absolutely gorgeous. I decided the Preston is just more fun and more my style.

I totally understand the pick and choose thing to fit the smaller bag. As I said, I'll be interested to see how it works for me on a daily basis. I don't carry a coupon binder by any means, but I'm trying to get better about using them and they end up in an envelope... Eventually. LOL! I also put water bottles and odds and ends in my purse, but I also use recycle/green shopping bags, so I could always keep one in the front to use if need be. It'll be interesting to see how long I'll be happy in this size....
