That's why I'm hoping I can try a couple and maybe find one that's a bit softer or 'fits' better. I've always been a shoulder bag girl, but I've learned to carry my Buroughs more as a satchel sometimes. I just need to have the ability and want it to be comfortable to wear on the shoulder.

Yeah, I was thinking this too. I get it though. When the pilot bags came out, that was the number one question. I have larger arms so it wouldn't have been an option for me but I remember someone posting they were able to wear it as a shoulder bag. It seems it would feel awkward but to each his own. I primarily carry Preston as a satchel. I rarely even use the longer strap.

I know that doesn't help OP but if the pilot bags worked for someone with smaller arms it might work for you.

I can't see much difference in the size of yours or the model's from this angle. It may be the shirt you're wearing. It's worth noting that the top of the bag appears to be in her arm pit.

I guess it felt like it was the zipper hitting under my arm. Maybe that's what the difference was with the sleeve length.

Nonetheless, I made a decision....

:D I broke one of my deal breakers with the shoulder strap and handles, but I just loved it on DD and kind of wanted a crossbody. I ran in today thinking I was going to get the Daily but I went this way and returned the B/W.

I love the color for summer and spring especially here in FL.

Thanks ladies for your help! I may eventually decide to try it again, but not now....

Ooooh that yellow is gorgeous! I'm not a yellow fan usually, but I really like that! I put both my graphite and my sea mist on my shoulder this morning, and while I'm not a big person, and don't have what I'd consider large arms, I don't like them on the shoulder. But I love them as a satchel and can deal with them crossbody too if I need to carry them that way.

I'm thinking about exchanging mine for the studded mini in ecru or the mini white with blue edge paint posted in the preview thread. I too wanted to wear it on my shoulder and feel that it looks awkward on me with the long strap due to the handles sticking halfway up my body. Can you share why you chose this vs the daily bag and what you can fit in it? Maybe a mod shot with the long strap too? I am at least an hour from a full price store so can't just go try them on. Thanks!!
