I have the large Ergo tote in the natural vachetta AND in the white (now), and I vote for the vachetta. The leather is thicker and feels more luxurious, and the color on mine has already started to deepen...it is a GORGEOUS bag, and it goes with everything! The vachetta Ergo is timeless.

The vintage just looks so much more appealing to me. But that may be because I have a thing for tan colored bags.
After reading all of your advice, I drove to the Coach store last night and tried both colors on for
myself. I must admit that I really do like the turquoise color - but I think that the Vintage might be more practical if I can only get one color. I do not own any tan bags, and the leather is absolutely luxurious. So, I think I might go with the vintage and keep the option open of buying the turquoise at a later day. I really did the turquoise color! It's so beautiful and unique. But if I have to choose only one of the Ergo Large Totes - I think I might go with the Vintage first.

I get so many compliments on my turqouise ergo! I went to the outlet and the ladies there were gasping over my tote and when I was checking out the lady said, I hope you did not think we were talking about you but your bag is so gorgeous and we have not seen one in person yet. I love the turqouise !!! Good luck
Oooohhhh! I might have to get the turquoise too! With all these raves about the turquoise color, I am thinking that I might have to have both. I just love the color...

I've seen both in person, andi it's REALLY hard to choose-they are both gorgeous. I tend to gravitate towards tan/brown leather most of the time so my collection is pretty practical. Maybe someday I'll get a more free spirit and add some gorgeous turquoise color!

Well, we will have to see. My finances are what they are, so I have to think very carefully if it is possible for me to do both. I really love both colors - but if I can only do one, I will probably go with the Vintage Ergo Large Tote - just becuase of the practicality of the color. I can't stop thinking about the turquoise, though....
Both are gorgeous.....the vintage one is more practical, but you can't go wrong with either. The turquoise is such a beautiful color, but I know that I would never carry it, so I'm going to compromise....I'm getting the white tote and a turquoise wallet!!
Hi girls-I usually post on Hermes, but I bought the Maude XL in vintage; the color is really beautiful, a very warm tan. My girlfriend bought the hobo in vintage, and left it in the car with the dog-who decided to stand on it-and the scratch marks buffed right out.
