Laptops in Birkin/Kelly Bags

Get a UNIQLO bag for this purpose. B/K i WILL NOT recommend. H bags are created to withstand time, not abuse. LOL
Agree - I don't even own an H bag yet, but from my friends' experience, they're not designed for laptops (maybe a GP but even then, laptops can be heavy). I have a 13" MBP, it weighs 3-4 pounds. Even though it's 'light' for a laptop, it's still designed to be worn on my back in a backpack, not in a hand carry or cross body bag. If not for the bag, buy a Uniqlo, Timbuk2 or other workhorse-type backpack for your back and shoulders!

I used to carry my laptop in my black Clemence 35 B, but I couldn’t stand the weight.
I have a black Mulberry Bayswater which was actually designed for a 13" Macbook that was being sold in like 2010/2011 on the Apple.com website (for the larger macbooks of that era). It has a padded area in the back of the bag for the laptop along with longer strap loops so you can get it over your shoulder.

I love being able to throw in the thinner macbooks of today along with magazine, notepad etc when traveling or going to an event. Sadly my work laptop is a 15" these days so I don't get to use it as much.

But yes even with all this support for a laptop, the Bays gets pretty heavy if you are toting it around for more than a little while.

That said with a sleeve I imagine that you can put laptops into most any bag (I have a 15" sleeve for my Mansur Gavriel tote) but I personally wouldn't want to put a laptop into a heavier bag unless I could get it over my shoulder or even better cross body unless I didn't have to go very far with it.
