I find Lanvin all leather flats to be the comfiest, followed by my metallic soft patent, metallic leather and lastly, patent. That's my comfort hierarchy for Lanvins, haha.
My Chanel leather/patent cap toe flats are quite comfy, similar to my metallic soft patent Lanvin ones. The all patent flats are much comfier than the comparable Lanvin ones, and the all leather quilted Chanel ones I have are just as comfy as my Lanvin all leather ones. So, I find leather v. leather to be very similar, and in terms of patent v. patent, I give the edge to Chanel.
You should also keep in mind that most Chanel flats do not have that elastic back that all Lanvin flats do... that elastic back bothers some people, and doesn't affect others. I probably fall into the latter category (especially since my TB revas and Miu Mius are among my comfiest flats)!
