Paulina was not financially dependent on the jerk. She was a successful REAL supermodel. And she continued working on and off on TV and film.
She made the mistake to commingle money. So all her savings went bye, bye.

That's my point. She wasn't dependent on him at the start. She made millions as a model and as the face of Estee Lauder, but she made the huge mistake of not keeping at least some of her earnings separate. I've read several accounts of their relationship in his final days and I believe mental health issues may have driven his decision to cut her out of the will.
her case seems complicated....they were married when she was modelling and contributing to their finances. and they were separated at the time of his death, not divorced. seems to me she might have a case for fighting the will.
They were separated but still living together and she took care of him as his health declined. She was the one who found him dead. He left his estate to their two sons, with whom she reportedly has a good relationship. One would think they will make sure she is taken care of financially. It is a sad and bizarre story that should serve as a cautionary tale to all women.

I still think if his wealth was partly from her earnings she should possibly have a case? Hard to understand what might have been going through his mind. I can understand if one is no longer married you wouldn't leave money to your ex though. and I guess if he intended to get divorced that was his mindset.
Maybe when they were married they kept separate bank accounts.
From what I recall, he had a number of health issues and had been in decline for several years, along with his mental state. He cut his children from his first marriage out along with Paulina. I agree that she may have a valid case to contest it. When she became the face of Estee Lauder her contract was the biggest ever for a model, but she acknowledges she put the money into the marriage. Clearly a bad move.

They supposedly have a good relationship, so hopefully it won't come to that. She says all the money she earned as the face of Estee Lauder went into the marriage. And she earned millions. She is entitled to at least some of that I would think. But who knows? Maybe they blew through both their earnings.

100% agree. At first I thought the nudes were due to grief and anger that she was left out of the will. At this point, I think it’s about something else - maybe jobs? Surely with her successful modelling career, she had advisors helping her manage the money. Maybe not, maybe she wants to follow in Liz Hurley’s path. 1988-1995, she was the Estee Lauder girl. That’s lots of money.

As far as Lady Kitty, she married her father. And she will live to regret it, JMO.
unfortunately, if you marry a much older man and stay married to him you will likely be his caregiver some day. but if he's lucky he will die quickly when the time comes rather than having a long debilitating illness
