Oooh, I hate the Desert Sand Color. It is just so dull. I do notice with my Marcelle that it tends to scratch easily. I use one of the side pockets for a big ring of keys and that is where most of my scratches are but the leather is such that I don't think the scratches detract from it so much and in time it was just looked used and lived in, which I don't mind for a leather bag.
