Thank you so much this is super helpful. I ordered just the felt insert yesterday and I think maybe I will amend it to remove the hardware up top and create my own holes in the material to put my chain in. You have a very good point about the plastic protector possibly being a bad idea in the summer which is kinda the only season to use the tie dye lol. I wasn’t a fan of making the bag look cheap by adding the plastic so I’m hoping the insert works out for me. I am surprised that all other felt options are so plain and many don’t have rivets for a chain.

Here is set.
The peeling is pretty obvious if you look closely but not obvious if from far away. I’m consulting with a person in their repair department and am waiting to see what they recommend. Any thoughts? @jimmie staton @paula3boys The other pieces are lovely.
I have the same problem with myZippy wallet et from this collection. The peeling is on both corners from the red side. I brought it to a LV store and they told me its nor possibke to repair, I can only return it. So I don't know what to do too.20200411_195139.jpg 20200411_195048.jpg

You can wear the item until you can't stand it anymore then take in, return it, or sell it.
I would keep the kirigami if you love it since it doesn't look that bad yet.
I would return that wallet as it is looking bad IMO.

Since I have the Neverfull from the collection, I kept the wallet. My monogram Zippy does not fit so well with the bag.
But the corners bother me, it looks shabby.

Possible... The wait is crazy long though... and with all that's going on... do you think that they would take in repairs ?

I think all the LV boutiques are closed for now, but if there is a boutique open near you they should still be processing repairs as a part of their customer service.
but the wait time might take forever. ( ie all the repair orders would pile up until a technician can get to it. LV has a manufacturing facility here in the US so potentially not as long as we all fear. )

you know, this the same thing GJ described is happening at the bottom corners of my Red Mongram Giant neverfull.... I chalked it up to wear-and-tear...but now I'm concerned T.T

side note: I'm happy to report I Haven't experienced any deglazing with my regular Mongram kirigami's
