Yes - Duke of Cornwall he became automatically.
Prince of Wales he will become when King Charles III gives him this title.
I remember watching his investiture on TV, he was 18 and I was 9.
I saw two pictures of Charles leaving Balmoral and he looked devastated...it made me teary all over again
King Charles has just arrived at Buckingham palace. He’s greeting people in the crowd that has gathered. Smiling graciously and shaking people’s hands. They are welcoming him and cheering. A group of people sang “God Save the King”.

When will that happen? Is it after the coronation? I’m an American and ignorant of the process.
I think Charles will make an excellent King. He does have very big shoes to fill however.
I agree. I think he will provide comfort to everyone now, as his mother did in difficult times.

It looks like the coronation ceremony happens after the mourning period, several months at least from what it looks like.

I think he will be a good king and Camilla will be an excellent partner. He literally has sat at the foot of the master all his life. Elizabeth was the best role model imaginable and I think the people will grow to love him, not as much and for not as long, but he is her son, after all.
He has made missteps like every human, and some of them are incredibly cringey, but in the end he seems to be a good and caring man and of course he knows what the job entails and seems prepared to do it well.
