i've only been to riverside once, and the people there were so snobby! at coach and esp at LV. i wanted to see a wallet and was hanging around the display and no one even bothered to ask me if i needed any help. i hate how some SAs act like they're better than you just because they work at an expensive store. as if they own the company. excuse me, you don't own the company you just work there...:rolleyes:

That is so rude! Go back and speak to a manager. When the suede was starting to fray on my apple coin purse, they switched it out no problem. Is it a current mini skinny? They should be able to just give you a new one.

i remeber the first time i walked into the woodfeild coach store, and my SA, who happes to b the manager was in the back room. well, since i am still a teenager(16) these two SA's practically stalked me aropund the store and i eventually picked somthing up adn they took it right out of my hands and put it back on the shlef. at that point i was sooo furious that i asked for my SA diane, and they both laughed and walked away, i was sooo angy that once she came out of the back , i told my SA what happend and one of them got fired on the spot. i belive every one deserves the respect even if your only 16, and even if you dont even know the manager. it drives me crazy when SA act superior to you.

Good for you! :biguns: That's pretty empowering, being able to see results immediately. Out of curiosity, was that the Woodfield mall in Illinois?

yes, it was like 2 years ago
and i was in ther e with my mom, i shouldnt say on the spot, but i rember the manager saying, to the SA "we'll talk later" and to this day havnt seen her back

oh and sprry my spleling is so bad, i was typing really fast, and rushing =]

This stuff makes me really :rant: . The associates in this store aren't the nicest! Paramus Park s/a's are just great so far! I hate the mall at Willowbrook but atleast every s/a works hard to help you and its closer to me than the others.

I'm glad I'm not the only one....
My favorite part is when I ask management about their policies and all they say can say is "coorporate decides". Have they ever thought to ask "WHY? Or the reasoning behind it is?" oh, well. They do have cute shoes though!

Good for you! I'm not 16 anymore...but look MUCH younger than my age....SAs need to realize that looks have nothing to do with BUYING power! And that's not JUST coach SAs...its all of them....I've walked away from purchasing major things like a car or furniture from a place that wouldn't take me seriously ...or that would talk to someone shopping with me (like a parent or boyfriend) instead of me.

I am sorry to hear they were so dismissive. Not the image Coach should be conveying to their customers! I agree with talking to the manager. Their behavior sounds totally inappropriate.

I haven't been to Paramus Park in over a year. How is the Coach store? The last time I was there they were still under construction. As for Willobrook, thats another mall (and Coach store) I don't like too! Some SA's are nice, but others keeping looking at me when I'm looking around and don't even ask if I need help when I did one time. I think my favroite SA there is Gretchen. I don't know if she's still there though.

Wholeheartedly agree! Unfortunately, I am one of those people who sometimes has difficulty holding her tongue when pissed/provoked. I would have definitely said something right then and there.
