I will never understand why people drop $100k+ on one of those ugly G-Series things.

You could get a great house where I used to live in Mississippi for that price.

Priorities..
Well if you have a multi-million dollar home, I would say your priorities are in order. Dropping $100k on a car is the equivalent of someone else spending $35k on a car.

All is relative, isn't it?
Spending that money as an adult is one thing, it would be a cold day in hell before I gift my child with a car that expensive.
It is some bull crap right here.
Of course, those girls are working and can afford whatever they like.

I would make it easy for her with something a Volvo, boxy but safe while she becomes more acclimated with driving vs something so high profile that fans and paps (driving distractions) will spot a mile away.

However, she could have bought, leased the car herself. She has the income. Of course parents could say no but I would imagine first thought is that the merc is safe for a teen.

After the accident, I would not have her driving the same pricy vehicle right off the bat for public perception but maybe they are thinking that if she is seen driving a lesser car weight wise it shows culpability.
The car she hit looked like it will be salvaged after a simple fender bender in town.

It really depends on the child. Both my sibling and I received luxury cars, etc. my sibling is older and got into many car crashes and went through many cars. My parents could have learned from their mistake of giving their children luxury cars by not giving me one. However, I learned from my sibling's mistakes, kept my cars in fantastic condition and was not responsible for any collision to my car. Not all teens are irresponsible but based on what we've seen of Kylie, she should have repercussions for her actions

Great points that all teens are not the same. I personnally believe that a child should not expect everything handed out to them.
Some are wise like you are, others become entitled and careless.
But of course, since the family brand is "Dream Big" they cannot be seen driving sensible cars or take public transportation.

I received a lot of things but I also worked for them. Had great grades, student council, executive boards, etc. I think with my children, I will work on creating incentives to get certain benefits like a better car etc. I can't imagine what it's like in a situation like Kylie and Kendall's where they make plenty of money.

The question of SUV vs. regular car is really just a mater of taste.

I personally would rather drive a nice station wagon than a SUV.

Either way: I don't think it's a good idea to put inexperienced drivers behind the wheel of such monsterous cars. But this is the Kardashians / Jenners we are talking about, so it doesn't have to make sense or be sensible.
In the United States there is only the Mercedes station wagon that will seat 7 I think. If there is another will someone please post the info. I want a station wagon so bad, but the MB is too flashy for my door locking habits.

If you want to see a really annoying celebrity offspring, look at Magic Johnson's son. The boy is all furs and exotic Birkins. He's trying to hang with the whole "Rich Kid of Instagram Crowd". The Brant brothers, one of whom said that ***** should be killed. And the African finance minister's daughter whose lifestyle seems to be supported by money daddy embezzled. Compared to that Kendall and Kylie seem down to Earth.

E-350 4 matic.
It seats 4 or 4+ 1 skinny person.

I need something that seats more than 5. My purse needs its own seat. And I can't drive a Mercedes because I never lock my doors, and often forget my keys in the ignition. I have also left my purse on the front passenger seat of my unlocked car more than once

Oops, I misunderstood, I thought you asked about Mercedes in particular.
In your case, moms mobile aka minivan might be the only choice.

If my kids ever want a 100k+ car, they can buy it with their own money. No way in hell would i ever buy my kid a luxury car no matter how much money i had. If you want nice things, you need to work for it like everyone else.

A just turned 16 yr old wearing a "69" sweatshirt and weed on her socks. . . smh

She get a new white G Wagon already?

And, meh. 100k car when your parents are multimillionaires isn't that big of a deal, IMO.

They want the best for their kids, so what?. Why should they have to get a starter car just b/c every other 16 year has to start off with entry level or a beater.

I could never have millions sitting in the bank then begrudge my kids nice things.
