Back Behind The Wheel! Kylie Jenner Gets New Car Day After Crashing Her $125,000 SUV
The reality TV family must have a fleet of vehicles

Kylie Jenner had her first car crash earlier this week, just weeks after getting her driving licence, but despite the three car crash the teenager isn't scared to get back behind the wheel and was spotted out in a different SUV yesterday while her own $125,000 car is in the shop.

Kris and Bruce Jenner's youngest daughter was spotted driving the white SUV yesterday while her Mercedes G500 was pictured being taken to a garage to be repaired following the accident.

It doesn't look like the teen was too concerned about her accident though as she headed out for dinner with friends to Nobu in Malibu and lucky for the multi-millionaire teen, the Kardashian/Jenner clan have plenty of vehicles to go around.

The crash reportedly took place in Calabasas at 5pm on Wednesday when, TMZ, reports she hit the back on a Toyota, which then hit the back of a Subaru SUV. Substanial damage was reportedly done to the back of the Toyota and the Subaru during the collision.

Following the alleged incident, Kylie reportedly got out of her black Mercedes G500 and apologised to the other parties, eye-witnesses claim, and checked that no-one was hurt. TMZ claims it didn't appear that anyone has suffered serious injuries as a result of the crash and that those involved co-operates with each other.

Kylie was first spotted in the luxury Mercedes at her lavish Sweet 16 party on August 17. Since then she's been spotted out several times in the expensive ride as she enjoys her new found freedom.

Also the fact that the SUVs are much higher means that the impact will affect the car differently than say, two normal sedans.

I don't understand why people even drive SUVs, but that is a whole other issue. Unless you live in the wilderness, tow boats / campers often / trailers you don't need a SUV. They're so expensive and unfriendly for the environment, too.

Very good point. I hate SUVs too and I don't get why they're so expensive either. IMHO, they are only meant for people that live in rural areas or places where it snows often. People living in big cities usually buy them to show off, without realising the damage they cause to the environment.

My STBX (soon to be exhusband) had a BMW X5 for a few years and I loathed that car. It was big, unpractical and did worse in the snow than my sweet little Volkswagon Golf

It was especially hard for me with 3 little kids. I can't lift very heavy so it was always hard for me to get the carseat out of the car from that height. I also had troubles getting the baby buggy in and out of the trunk.

I especially hate it when I park my tiny Honda in an open lot and then come back later to find two huge SUVs flanking my car even though there are other spaces open. I feel like I'm being bullied!

You forgot how hard it is to park such a big car. Finding a decent parking space is always a nightmare, even for smaller car drivers. I can't imagine how it must be for SUV drivers.

Especially in Europe! What a nightmare!!! :wtf:

We have 3 US Military bases near me and it's always HILARIOUS to watch them try and parallel park in to an itty bitty spot with their huge Escalade. :roflmfao: Good entertainment :p

It looks like Kylie is behind the wheel and driving with a friend in the car again. If her passenger is younger than 20 years old, Kylie obviously is continuing to disregard California rules for teen drivers.

In defense of driving a big honking SUV, I drove one for years when my kids were involved in many sports. There were a lot of equipment and extra stuff to haul that couldn't possibly fit in a small sedan. And there were countless times I also had to take teammates and their own equipment too. The extra space came in handy.

I have a sedan now, but I preferred driving the SUV. I really had no problem with parking it and I loved being able to see better. Hated the gas mileage though so there is that major drawback among other things.

In Kylie's case, her driving an SUV is a danger to others. She seems to need more driving lessons or at the very least be made to follow rules of road safety.

I love my SUV. It's not as big as an escalade, but I have room for all my groceries in the trunk when buying loads of food/decorations for a party I'm hosting. I can move all sorts of random stuff without having to pay someone with a truck/delivery service. At this point, I don't want to own any other type of car other than a weekend toy-like car. I'm also less likely to have damage to my car in an accident than a small vehicle. Look at that Corolla made of all plastic/fiberglass and look at the SUV. Perfectly illustrates why my parents wouldn't want me to have something like that and I agree.

The question of SUV vs. regular car is really just a mater of taste.

I personally would rather drive a nice station wagon than a SUV.

Either way: I don't think it's a good idea to put inexperienced drivers behind the wheel of such monsterous cars. But this is the Kardashians / Jenners we are talking about, so it doesn't have to make sense or be sensible.

Thank you for posting this! I drive a(n) SUV and I love it... for a variety of reasons.

I was in an accident in October. I was not really hurt... just a little sore. The paramedic told me had I been in a smaller car, I'd would have been hospitalized.

We offset our SUV "footprint" in other eco-friendly ways :flowers:

So true :ghi5:

Totally agree with GoGlam. I learned to drive in an SUV and I've never had any issues driving or maneuvering them. I can drive just about any size car with no issues.

Discussing whether one"needs" to drive an SUV is :shrugs: There are a lot of things people don't "need" but it doesn't stop them from buying.

Kylie's issue is that she wasn't paying attention and could probably use a few more lessons. Those things will cause an accident no matter what kind of car you're driving.
